Jaylen Adside | Cedar Grove | 2023

The 5’10” point guard out of Cedar Grove, Jaylen Adside, controlled the game for its entirety. Adside is a smooth guard that is able to get to the basket quickly with his speed and finesse. Adside also showed that he could hit from the long range and has a nice release at a very high clip. Adside finished the game with game with 22 points in the win over Paideia. The combination of Adside and Green was fun to watch and I expect the two to continue to lead Cedar Grove to a successful season.

Gicarri Harris | Grayson | 2024

The 6’4″ guard out of Grayson, Gicarri Harris, is a man among boys. It’s hard to believe Harris is only a junior as it always seems his play looks effortless. Harris can beat you in a multitude of ways and was one of the more impressive rebounders I saw in his relentless fight to always come up with the ball. Harris finished with 24 in the win over Tri-Cities and I expect Grayson to make a very deep run once March hits. Harris has multiple high major D1 offers.

RJ Kennedy | Fayette Co. | 2023

The 6’1″ guard out of Fayette County, RJ Kennedy, continued to prove why he’s one of the best available guards in the 2023 class. Kennedy plays with tenacity on both ends and is a proven winner. Kennedy does well using his strength and handles to not only get to the basket, but finish around the rim. Kennedy has a nice shot off the catch and can also create his own shot from anywhere on the court. Kennedy finished with 28 points in the close win over Osborne.

Kory Mincy | Tri-Cities | 2023

The 6’3″ guard out of Tri-Cities, Kory Mincy, was fearless against a stacked Grayson team. Mincy is a solid, lead guard that has experience taking over in games. Mincy sees the court well and plays with tenacity and fight regardless of opponent. Mincy’s best weapon is beating opponents off the dribble to get to the rim or find open teammates. Mincy finished with 21 points in the loss to Grayson. Mincy is committed to Presbyterian College.

Kenan Orlovic | Paideia | 2023

The 6’7″ forward out of Paideia, Kenan Orlovic, had his hands full with the size of Walnut Grove but stood out with his skill set and finding ways to score the ball. Orlovic was also a menace on the boards on both ends and fought well to come up with the ball continuously. Orlovic finished with a solid double-double, finishing with 18 points and 18 blocks, along with several blocks. Orlovic currently holds offers from Albany State, Berry, and Dean College.
