OTR Sweet 16 Session II – Folds’ Stock Risers

Sweet Sixteen II – Stock Risers

25’ Kaden Ferguson– Kaden was another player playing up in 17u this past weekend and was showing out at both ends of the court. Sniper from long range, above average defender and solid IQ make Kaden a stock riser and one to monitor as the travel season continues. Kaden shows good poise and understand how to move without the ball. Very disciplined and well-trained player.

24’ Zundra Jackson – Zundra was one of the fastest players I saw over the weekend and was fundamentally sound. Zundra possessed a nice display of combination moves and was a floor general while on the court. Zundra put together multiple games where he was able to fill up the stat sheet and help his team however they needed. Zundra is a competitor and will be a name that continues to attract attention to whatever court he is playing on.

23’ Marc Ortiz – Marc was “Mr. Do It All” for his team. His coach told me that Marc just loves the game and is willing to do whatever it takes to impact the game and those around him. Marc’s style of play reminds me of Draymond Green he simply does everything he can to impact every possession. I enjoyed watching him play and would encourage him to keep going as his style of play should be attractive to college coaches.

24’ Jaylan Sammy– Jaylan was another intriguing guard that caught my eye over the weekend. Jaylan was all over the floor and is a great rebounder from the guard position. I do not recall him giving up many points from the matchup he had on defense and Jaylan displayed a great motor throughout the game. Great upside here and a player who will only continue to get better and be a consistent impact player on the court.

24’ Boaz Adler – Boaz and his 6’7 frame was a lot to handful for the opposition throughout the weekend. This young man showed a smooth stroke from the outside while acting as a vacuum for rebounds on the board. A fierce competitor with a ton of upside I liked Boaz’s overall game. Boaz had several double doubles with points and rebounds and to add to his hooping skills he also has a 3.9 GPA. Interest in this young man should heat up heading into the summer.
