Scoring guard Armel Potter of Sprayberry High School is headed to Charleston Southern

Charleston Southern landed its second commitment in the class of 2015. Amrel Potter, a senior from Marietta, Georgia who was once committed to Florida Atlantic University before a coaching change.

Potter is a knock down shooter who has range that extend’s beyond the arc, there is no question he stretches the defense better than most. When he heats it up he has the ability to go on a run to knock down five or six deep ones in a row. As a senior the 6’1 shooting guard averaged 26.2 points while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free-throw line. Potter went on to be named Region 7-AAAA Player of the Year honors and finishing at Sprayberry High School All-Time leading scorer.

Barclay Radebaugh incoming class includes two of the top players in Georgia in Armel Potter and Atwan Maxwell.
