SUWANEE, Ga. – On the Radar continued its summer circuit this past weekend in Suwanee, Georgia. The top independent platform thrived, showcasing a wealth of talent over the three-day weekend.

AJ Williams- Georgia Stars – 2028
Aj Williams is the top-ranked player in the class of 2028 and truly demonstrated his skills during the weekend. Although he only played in two games, he dominated every minute he was on the floor. His exceptional size and athleticism set him apart, even while competing against older players. He scores effortlessly in various ways, showcasing a tight ball handle and impressive footwork. He effectively stretched the defense to the three-point line, making multiple shots from beyond the arc. Defensively, he is versatile, guarding multiple positions and grabbing rebounds in large numbers. With his elite pace, he consistently plays under control.

Peter Julius – Georgia Stars – 2028
Julius is a big-bodied player in and around the paint. He has tremendous length and strength, allowing him to get to his spots on offense and move players defensively. He seals well and finishes at the basket with a smooth, soft touch. An elite rebounder who high points the ball on both ends. He plays through the contact and finishes at the free-throw line often. He had several plays above the rim, finishing with thunderous 2-hand slams. Defensively, he regularly alters and blocks shots in the paint. Additionally, he can initiate fast breaks off rebounds with strong, accurate outlet passes, leading to transition scoring opportunities.

Kamari Kilgore – Sewer South OTR -2028
Kilgore was the motor of his team and a determining factor in its success. A lead guard that plays hard on both ends. He consistently made winning plays and did what was needed on both ends. Kamari guards with purpose and physicality, constantly disrupting opposing offenses. He is a skilled passer with a high basketball IQ, regularly setting up his teammates for success. As a pure scorer, he can quickly get on a roll, as demonstrated when he scored eight straight points on Saturday night, leading his team to victory.

Dau Yak – Team Smash OTR – 2028
Yak was a constant force on both ends for his team. He served as a defensive anchor in the paint, protecting the rim. He altered and blocked numerous shots across the weekend. Using his size and length, he rebounded well and showed the ability to get the ball out quickly. Yak showed a strong handle, allowing him to create separation for his jumper. He made a variety of shots, both facing the basket and with his back to it. His smooth shooting stroke and soft touch made him a matchup nightmare all weekend long.

Saint Mason – IDBA – 2027
Mason did everything for his team over the weekend. He is constantly in the right spot on both ends and makes winning plays. He defends other guards well and holds his own against bigger players as well. He has a loud voice and plays with purpose. Mason is constantly looking to score and did so regularly all weekend from all 3 levels. He rebounded effectively on both ends of the court and excelled in transition. As a willing passer, he prioritizes giving up a good shot for a more exceptional one.
