On the Radar was back at Suwanee Sports Academy for the annual 'Atlanta Classic' tournament. This tournament featured teams from 15U-17U from across the southeast. This will be a two part series.

Hassan Abdur-Rahman | 2027 | Georgia Fire: Hassan Abdur‑Rahman stood out as a top prospect for Georgia Fire throughout the weekend. He was effective on the interior, protecting the rim with timely blocks and limiting opponents’ second chance opportunities. Abdur‑Rahman displayed strong footwork in the paint, read defenders well, and consistently found ways to get around them and finish inside.

Kameron Brown | 2027 | Mamba South: Kameron Brown proved to be an efficient scorer, consistently showcasing his offensive game throughout the weekend. He recorded multiple double‑digit scoring performances, knocking down perimeter jumpers while also attacking the basket effectively. Brown complemented his scoring by playing with toughness, sacrificing his body to pursue steals and finish through contact on difficult shots at the rim.

Eric Coleman | 2027 | Sewer South: Eric Coleman is a hidden gem in the 2027 class and a prospect worth tracking closely. An athletic guard with a strong frame and reliable ball‑handling, Coleman pairs his physicality with sneaky bounce that allows him to make plays off the dribble. He shows confidence shooting from beyond the arc and effectively uses his body to score in the mid‑range and finish through contact around the rim. With his tools and mentality, Coleman has a high ceiling and the potential to make a significant impact at the next level.

Monte Colvin | 2027 | Devin Butts Elite: Monte Colvin emerged as a standout prospect for Devin Butts Elite, earning multiple shoutouts throughout the weekend. He anchored the interior for DBE with his athleticism while also demonstrating the mobility and skill to operate comfortably on the perimeter. Colvin played with confidence when attacking the basket, finishing effectively at the rim and above it. He also showed offensive versatility, knocking down smooth pull‑up jumpers in the mid‑range and converting catch‑and‑shoot opportunities from three.

Abram Gaddis | 2027 | Atlanta Timberwolves: Despite an early 8:00 a.m. tip, Abram Gaddis made it clear that the timing didn’t affect his offensive production. He was poised and patient in the half‑court, consistently making the right reads by attacking the basket or finding open teammates. Gaddis also showed his ability to stretch the floor, connecting on multiple three‑pointers at a high clip. A high‑level scorer who plays with control and confidence.

Amari Griggs | 2028 | Impact Nation: Amari Griggs led Impact Nation with 20 points, showcasing his versatility in a nail‑biter win over DBE. He played with physicality, scoring the majority of his points inside five feet while consistently finding ways to the basket. Griggs was effective posting up defenders on the block and squaring up from the short corner to attack. His size and length stood out, and when paired with his athleticism and bounce, he was able to clean up effectively around the rim on missed shots.

Rodney Jackson | 2027 | Mamba South: Rodney Jackson is a tough, big guard who brings versatility to the floor and impacts the game in multiple ways. He was effective putting the ball on the deck and getting to the basket with limited dribbles, using his strength to create advantages. Jackson also found success in the mid‑range, consistently knocking down shots from around five feet. A guard capable of playing both inside and out, Jackson is a prospect worthy of attention heading into the summer months.
