MARIETTA, Ga. — The second stop on the On The Radar Battleground tour took over Marietta. Several of the best middle school teams in the region took center stage in the Atlanta suburb, and here’s who stood out:

JeBrelle Snow - Game Elite - 2031

Was an effective combo guard for GE and as the weekend went on he showed what he brings to this group. A guard with a quick first step that can blow by defenders with ease and cause fits on the defensive end. Good lateral quickness and showed he can be effective with or without the ball.

Mikael Hilliard - Cap City Clutch - 2031

Another big guard for this Cap City group that plays with good pace and understands the game and his role early. He can get to his spots with ease, made some good reads and does a good job finishing at the rim. He didn’t care to be the leading score or make flashy plays just whatever was needed to get a w. His length was key defensively.

Riley Hill - Cap City Clutch - 2031

Big guard that plays well within the game and uses his size to his advantage. A defensive mismatch as he dominates in the press and can pick up and disrupt guards who are not used to his length. Helped lead his team to a 3-0 weekend and did it in a dominant fashion.

LJ Hall - Game Elite - 2031

LJ is also another player turning into a household name in his class. He is the swagger for GE and it bleeds on the court through his play. He understands his game to a tee, plays confident and scores at a high rate. Got up some really craft buckets this weekend showing he knows how to use his body well as well as finessing angles and attacking lapses in the defense. Super skilled guard for his age.

Allen Robinson - Team CP3 - 2031

Allen already possesses a nice frame to him and that allowed him to get to the rim and charge the basket with ease.

Reason Hobbs - Team CP3 - 2031

Reason was towering over everyone of his peers and his size alone left you intrigued on wanting to watch his play. Strong rebounder who is also a space eater in the post. He plays true to his size, runs the floor well for his size and can finish at a high rate through contact.

Myles Collier - AE5 - 2031

You can tell there is some basketball blood in Colliers household due to how he processes and plays the game. He put heavy emphasis on getting two feet in the paint and has a comfortable mid range pull up. He didn’t mind being the focal point for this group and took on the challenges of facing different looks and being able to score against them. It was a tough loss in the matchup watched but Myles showed a lot of grit and promise for one to monitor in the future.

Roman Suttle - Team Swain - 2031

Was the lead guard for Swain and played with a good blend of pace that made defenses hard to get comfortable. When a bucket was needed he was able to provide it at all or just run the offense to keep the system rolling. Has a good burst to him and he did a good job finishing in traffic.

Kylen Hoxie - Team Swain - 2031

Another player that was in the mix of that 6th man role, Kylen adds another dynamic to a group with a lot of pieces. Brings good size, runs the floor hard, and showed the ability to push the break a few times. If not properly equipped, Kylen can easily be a leading scorer for this group just due to his size and being able to attack from multiple positions. As he continues to grow into his body and get comfortable with his game his performances will become more consistent.
