Tre Keith, a 6-foot-3 rising senior combo guard out of Tri-Cities High School in the greater Atlanta area, announced on his social media on Tuesday night that he has narrowed his top schools to six. Moving forward, Keith will consider the following schools: Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Saint Louis, and Virginia Tech. Before trimming his list down to six, Keith was being recruited by Cincinnati, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, Jacksonville State, South Florida, Tennessee, and Xavier.

Keith has also scheduled two official visits with Clemson (September 12) and Boston College (September 25). He has also scheduled future official visits with his other four remaining finalists, but those dates are still being finalized.

This Grassroots season, Keith played for Anthony Edwards Five, which is a part of the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, where he averaged 24.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

During his junior season playing at Tri-Cities High School, Keith averaged 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He shot 49% from the field, 38% from behind the arc, and 78% from the free-throw line, according to MaxPreps. The Bulldogs finished the 2025-2026 season with a 17-14 record and qualified for the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class AAAAA Semifinals, where their season ended against eventual champion Alexander High School.

Scouting Report on Tre Keith: Keith operates as a true combo guard, possessing the fluidity and ball-handling to initiate offense, but also the scoring instincts to get his own buckets when needed. He plays with a distinct pace, never rushed, always surveying his options before making a move. His decision-making in the open court is advanced for his age; he pushes the tempo intelligently, looking for early transition opportunities or settling into a half-court set with purpose. In the pick-and-roll, he demonstrates a good feel for drawing defenders and making the right decisions when he has the basketball in his hands. Keith possesses a smooth jumper with range out to the college three-point line, consistently hitting off the catch and the dribble. His quickness off the dribble allows him to get to the rim, where he is unafraid when it comes to finishing while absorbing contact. He is projected as a high-major starter or a critical rotation player at the college level, capable of contributing immediately with his scoring and playmaking. His versatility as a combo guard makes him a valuable piece for any program looking for a dynamic offensive threat.
