On The Radar made a stop in Macon for the Heart of Georgia Classic. It was an event filled with younger talent. Of the stars of the future we saw, these names stood out:

Greg Hardaman - Georgia Thunder Elite - 2029
Another big guard for his group, he was a physical ball handler who just needed to put his head down and get easy lay-ins at the rim. Strong with the ball, has a nice frame to him early and a player that is confident in his game and ability. Overheard him in the bleachers say he was getting 20pts and he went out and got the 20 with the win.

Curtis Whisby - Chosen Elite - 2032
One of the younger guys who did a really good job holding his own and playing up made a lot of splashes on the weekend. He helped lead his team to the championship game and was very dependable as the lead guard. Possesses good size, made some good reads, got his guys involved well and also made his mark defensively. He has a good wingspan that allows him to disrupt lanes, fluster guys in the press or just making it uncomfortable when he is defending on ball.

Chandler Martin - Chosen Elite - 2031
Showed some of the highest upside amongst all the kids watched in his group due to size and length. He can guard multiple positions on the defensive end and he blocked multiple jumpers and 3point attempts due to his length alone. Offensively he was the go to scoring option for this group, could score on 3 levels and handle the rock. Special player brewing once he puts it all together.

Christian Mitchell - Chosen Elite - 2031
CM might have been the most intriguing prospect on the day. He has a good blend of size and skill and can be seen as a guard or a wing player. Fundamentally sound, does a good job imposing is size getting to the rim and doesn’t need a lot of dribbles to be effective. As he continues to grow, ball handling especially with his left hand and consistency shooting will be key.

Malik Brinkley - Chosen Elite - 2031
Malik oozes with potential due to his size and post presence. He was an x-factor for this group and helped them get to the title game. He has strong hands and is a force on the glass allowing easy second chance points and easy instant offense with defensive rebounds. He is still growing into his body and learning the game but he has a soft touch around the rim, can defend well in the paint and step out.
