On The Radar made a stop in Macon for the Heart of Georgia Classic. It was an event filled with younger talent. Of the stars of the future we saw, these names stood out:

Deshonvaris Lundy - PAG Raptors - 2030
Uber confident guard that brought a lot of flair and wiggle to the event this weekend. He plays with the ball on a string, is crafty with the rock and gets his guys involved showing a true unselfish pg. Competed hard on both ends of the floor and is a matter of seeing a couple of shots fall before he decides to take over a game. Will definitely hear his name down the line.

Brayden Wilson - Monroe County Wolves - 2031
BW was a dog. His mother was one of the assistant coaches for this group and you can tell when a basketball mind is around his player. He had an effective midrange game especially with the baseline jumpers, put he was scared to get physical and get in players faces. He played well under control and provided a reliable scoring option for this group. He brought good intensity on both sides of the ball. With his confidence and coaching, his performances will only become more consistent down the line.

Curtis Jackson - Bama Noles - 2031
Stepped up big time in the semifinal matchup and showed a reliable scoring option. He was a confident 3 level scorer, shot well off the dribble and did a good job pushing the ball in transition.

Javoris Parker Jr - Chosen Elite - 2032
Was a beast amongst kids in his class and led his team to a championship win. He can shoot the ball well but keeps the game simple, bullying his way to the rim and connecting on the easy lay. He is aggressive on ball as well being the defender that will just rip your pocket clean or out muscle you on potential jump ball plays.

Princeton Atkins - Chosen Elite - 2032
Knocked down the go ahead 3 in OT in the championship game to propel his team to the win. Confident player that seized the moment and stayed ready when his number was called. Also had a crucial block to seal the game.

Timothy Battle - Revenge Elite - 2031
Any event he steps in, it will be hard not to highlight him because he is such a mismatch. When focused and fed he is feasting in the post and just working the low block connecting on every lay possible. He is continuing to add to his game and showing the ability to stretch the floor and get more confident with his mid range game that will only make him that much more of an asset. He wants the responsibility to lead this team and did that yet again helping Revenge Elite win the title for his age group. The ceiling with TB is special and he is still just scratching the surface.
