Saturday of the On the Radar Summer Jam set the tone with high energy and competitive play across the board. Teams came out ready to compete, showcasing a strong mix of skill, effort, and basketball IQ. There was no shortage of shot-making and aggressive play on both ends of the floor. Games were fast paced, leading to exciting sequences and momentum swings throughout the day. Overall, it was a solid opening day with plenty of talent on display.

Chubb Skinner - Guard - Twelve Time Elite OTR - Class of 2029
Chubb Skinner in my opinion, was the most competitive player in the gym. He played with a nonstop motor that impacts the game on every possession and never seems to slow down. He pushes the pace in transition and is extremely tough to stop with a full head of steam, whether he’s finishing at the rim himself or creating for teammates. Defensively, he’s just as impactful, consistently generating turnovers that turn into easy buckets the other way. His energy and competitiveness raise the level of everyone around him and make his team harder to play against. If you get the chance this weekend, sit down and watch him compete.

Turner Peppers - Combo Guard - Atlanta Standard - 2029
Turner Peppers is a lights out shooter with a lightning-quick release who provides instant offensive spark and elite floor spacing. He was one of the best pure shooters I saw all day and is a coach's dream from beyond the arc. With a high motor and competitive spirit he also battled on the glass to create extra opportunities and finished a couple easy buckets. Showed playmaking ability as well, delivering key passes off drives and reading the floor well when collapsing defenses. He's super valuable on the floor at all times. A true difference-maker who impacts winning without needing high volume touches.

Nash Rouse - Guard / Wing - Carolina Premiere - 2029
Nash Rouse both came up huge for Carolina Premiere, delivering in key moments when their team needed it most. Noah provided late game scoring, finishing through contact at the rim with gritty toughness and knocking down timely threes to help stretch the lead to double digits against Garner Road. His poise, balance, and composure for his age continue to stand out, showing real potential for the next level. Nash is a gamer who competes hard and consistently finds ways to get downhill and finish using his long frame. He capped it off by showing clutch ability, hitting the game-winning three at the buzzer to take down a talented AOT team.

Sam Cann - Combo Guard - Garner Road - 2029
Cann is a smooth 3 level scorer who truly understands how to get to his spots. I was super impressed by the maturity in his game. A super fluid guard who looks comfortable under pressure. Uses a nasty crossover to create separation and rise into a clean, confident pull-up jumper. A pure scorer who also plays off two feet effectively around the rim, using head fakes to keep shot blockers off balance. In addition, he can run the point at a high level making advanced reads, pushing the pace in transition, and creating opportunities for others.

Noah Ward - Guard - AJ Bouye Elite P32 - 2029
Ward is a pure, silky-smooth shooter with a quick, confident release who can score on the move or off the dribble. Sneaky athleticism allows him to put pressure on interior defenses, and he brings value on the defensive end as a strong on-ball defender capable of guarding top players. His combination of quick feet and active hands allow him to put pressure on top ball handlers. Has good size and plays with a noticeable confidence that impacts the game. He also shows a strong feel for offensive timing, allowing him to consistently find clean looks within the flow of the offense. As he continues to develop physically, his scoring impact and defensive versatility project even higher at the next level.
