TAMPA, Fla. — The inaugural Tampa Takeover is the next stop on the On the Radar Hoops Circuit season. Nearly 50 teams ranging from five different age groups take the stage this weekend at the prestigious Skills Center. Here is who stood out on Sunday:

Dereon Tochterman - Gainesville Kings NXTPRO - 2026

The 6-foot unsigned senior guard did a great job when it came to positioning himself in the offense, whether it was as a primary scorer or making strong cuts towards the basket in his off-ball movement. On defense, he positioned himself in the passing gaps and played at a high level around the rim as a solid rebounder. Tochterman is an unsigned senior who could make an immediate impact at the JUCO level this upcoming season.

Ryon McClellon - Gainesville Kings NXTPRO - 2027

McClellon plays with a high IQ on both ends of the floor. On offense, he showed true unselfishness, where he made strong reads as well as getting out in transition, beating the defense, finishing high above the rim. On defense, he played with toughness and energy that continued to feed off his teammates, where he also took back-to-back charges late in the game to seal a win over BLA Elite National. As he continues to put on an outstanding two-way effort, the 6-foot junior guard could be on the verge of a breakout spring season.

TJ Worthy - Liberty Edge Basketball - 2027

The 6-foot-1 junior point guard excelled at playing under elite body control, where he was unafraid when it came to absorbing contact on the offensive end. On defense, he applied constant pressure to keep the offense honest, as well as showing strong intangibles where he got into the passing gaps, creating steals, and turning defense into offense with his elite speed when he has the basketball in his hands.

Mason Cocozza - Liberty Edge Basketball - 2027

The 6-foot-5 combo forward did a great job when it came to anchoring the paint on both ends of the floor, where he was able to finish off two feet at the rim as well as being efficient in the mid-range on the offensive end. On defense, he was stellar, where he took a charge late in the game that sealed the win over Lab 904 Black in the morning game. He also finished every possession, snatching down timely rebounds and limiting the opposition from second-chance scoring opportunities.

Corde Davis - Born Ballers OTR - 2029

The 5-foot-9 point guard did a great job when it came to pushing the pace and controlling the offense, where he can score on all three levels with confidence. On defense, he set the tone with his energy by forcing turnovers, getting deflections, and guarding multiple positions, utilizing his speed and athleticism. Davis could impact the game in a variety of ways and continues to show a high ceiling with his efforts on both ends of the floor, as the spring season rolls on.

Amari Francois - Hoop Dreams - 2030

The 5-foot-9 eighth grader is quick and shifty when he has the basketball in his hands, where he made quick reads as well as getting to the front of the rim in full-attack mode on the offensive end. On defense, he was active in the passing lanes as well as pursuing elite ball-handlers with his disruptiveness when guarding the primary guards. He also showed above-average athleticism when it came to altering shots around the rim and snatching down timely rebounds.

Carter Kenney - Team Gritty Elite - 2029

The 6-foot shooting guard showed great court awareness as well as playing with an unselfish edge from the secondary guard position, where he made strong passes to his teammates in transition and in the half-court on the offensive end. On defense, he used his strong and physical skillset when it came to playing in the paint, where he showed he was unafraid when guarding bigger players. He was also fully efficient when it came to guarding the passing lanes and creating turnovers.

Adrian Pozo - Liberty Edge Basketball - 2028

The 6-foot-3 combo guard is the true definition of a game changer, whether it’s his ability to knock down shots on all three scoring levels on the offensive end. He is also a true menace when it comes to his havoc on the defensive end, where he showed true activity in the passing lanes, getting steals, and deflections. He is a proven winner who continues to make an immediate impact on both ends of the floor as the spring rolls on.

Donte Gibson - G-Force Ryders OTR - 2028

The 6-foot-2 sophomore shooting guard plays with true poise and patience when it comes to operating in the open court, where he was making strong reads and smart decisions to his teammates on the offensive end of the floor for his position. On the defensive end, he can produce at a high level with his timely rebounding and being a versatile weapon when guarding on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Look for Gibson to continue to make havoc as he is a name slowly trending on the radar as the spring continues to roll on.
