Atlanta, Ga – There are 2 notable HS duos in 2020 that are still on the board in Jermontae Hill & Terrence Edwards from Tucker, and then Roman Son & Ra’Sean Frederick from Therrell. Hill and Edwards are both taller perimeter players who are competitive and do a variety of things to help their teams. Hill started to pick up a lot of new suitors in the winter, Edwards released a Final 4 of VCU, South Carolina, Eastern Carolina, and ETSU in March.
Son has long been known as one of the best defenders in the state and constantly progressed on offense with both his scoring and facilitating as his career has gone on. He has numerous Division 2 programs pursuing him and brings a tough and feisty presence. Fredrick improved his outside shot this year and had multiple games with 5+ 3’s made for the Panthers. He’s active on the glass and has slashing ability as a long 6’5” lefty.
Achor Achor is the best available forward in the state; he transferred to Core4 for his final season. He’s extremely active on both sides of the ball, runs the floor, and has a solid set of offensive tools. There are rumors that he may reclassify to 2021, but he has a lot of good MM/MM+ programs on him.
Shiloh guard Caleb Golden has finally started to get the recruitment he deserves with recent Division 1 offers from Tarleton State and Air Force. He could very well pick up more before the end of April, but might finish things up with his recruitment soon.
