ELITE 32 Recruiting Recap – July 24, 2014

MARIETTA, Ga., – The Elite 32 provided the stage for a number of high profile prospects to get looks from colleges from around the nation. The premier match-up of the tournament pitted two of the nation’s top forwards in Diamond Stone of Milwaukee, Wisc., in the class of 2015 versus Harry Giles of Winston Salem, N.C., in the class of 2016. Although CP3 and Giles got the best of Young Legends, Stone proved that he is heads above the other front line players in the nation. The Elite 32 even presented the platform for prospects who had limited college offers coming into the event. Here is a look at which prospects received offers and interest after the even.

ELITE 32 Recruiting Recap 

Class of 2015 6-10 forward Aric Holman of Owensboro, Ky., picked up 14 offers while playing at the Elite 32. Those offers include Auburn, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Kansas State, Memphis, Morehead State, Murray State, Vanderbilt, VCU, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Oklahoma State, Samford, Stetson, and Western Kentucky. — Shun Williams

Class of 2016 wing Eli Wright of Owensboro, Ky., picked up offers from Cincinnati, Charlotte, La Salle, Houston, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Wichita State and Western Kentucky. — Shun Williams

Class of 2015 guard Ty Hudson of Austell, Ga., picked up offers from Oklahoma State, South Florida, Virginia Tech and VCU. — Shun Williams

Class of 2015 guards Terrence Davis and LaGerald Vick of Memphis, Tenn., picked up an offer from Cincinnati. — Shun Williams

Class of 2016 post Chris Lewis of Milton, Ga., picked up offers from Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami and Mississippi State. — Shun Williams

Class of 2016 wing Trent Forrest of Chipley, Fla., picked up offers from Miami, Wichita State and Wake Forest. — Shun Williams

Class of 2015 forward Courtney Alexander of Atlanta, Ga., picked up offers from Murray State and Louisiana Tech. — Shun Williams

Class of 2016 point guard Alterique Gilbert of Lithonia, Ga., picked up offers from Miami and Memphis. — Shun Williams

Class of 2015 guard Trey Phills of PSB Select picked up offers from Appalachian State, Citadel, UC Irvine and East Tennessee State. — Shun Williams
