Hoop Hustler’s Tipoff Classic – Can’t Miss Guys Pt 2
SUWANEE, GA – Outside of our own premier OTR schedule, the first of two Tipoff Classic events this one in April from Hoop Hustlers is one of the best events on the calendar.
I hung around Cts 6 and 7 for most of Saturday’s schedule to take in as much top-level 17U action as I could. Here is Part 2 of 2 on some guys who were hard to miss:
by Keith Agran
Micah Smith | F | 2024 | AE5 (Sandy Creek)
A complete type performance from Smith earlier going head to head for @AE5Basketball vs a lot of Xpress size, the effort level was top shelf as he can be pure freight train but he's got it much more under control, making him a stat sheet stuffer and consummate all-around threat pic.twitter.com/OjQKULoM0D

Jayden Williams | F | 2024 | Atlanta Celtics (OTE)
With his recent residency with @OvertimeElite we hadn't seen much of Williams so it was revealing today with @atl_celtics2024, around the basket at both ends it was awesome in spots as a rejector and finisher, it'll be fascinating to see what he develops in the next year pic.twitter.com/yKLd1pNdWz

Keenan Gray | G | 2024 | Team Scoot (McDonough)
Like this match with @realteamscoot for Gray, heading into a critical summer for him to get the looks he deserves, he just needs to see the ball more over the next 3 travel months, before he becomes option 1 for the Warhawks in the fall pic.twitter.com/szg59wuTzy

Bryson Tiller| G | 2025 | Atlanta Xpress (OTE)
In a gym filled with all this talent today, I'm careful in saying that Tiller was the best overall prospect there, but I accept it can be debated and he's going to come out near the top one way or the other, big time in all facets – at @thetipoffclassi pic.twitter.com/Euc2FMqO6s

Isaac Taveras | G | 2023 | Team Huncho (Jacksonville Beach, FL)
Caught Taveras' act last year with SE Elite and he was memorable, now a little bigger and stronger and with St Bonaventure the most recent to offer, the unsigned FL guard was easy to spot again, eye-opening speed on the push as he covers a ton of ground with his strides pic.twitter.com/WpyR5lWxpk
