Jonesboro High School senior Tracey Hector Jr. caught the attention of several college programs during the April and July evaluation periods.  Hector has a good-looking frame with long arms and overall solid length. He is very athletic in the open court and is a strong finisher around the basket.

Kevin Murph of Mabelton, Ga., showed that he has the ability to create mismatch problems with his ability to play underneath the basket as well as to step out on the perimeter.  Murphy is a tough rugged forward that does a lot of the little things that may not show up in the stat sheet. He is the type of player who is quick to dive on the floor or take a charge on the defensive end.

FAMU recently offered combo guard K’jai Johnson of Douglasville, Ga.  This 6-foot-1 guard who plays his high school basketball at Douglas County High School can score the ball in bunches.  He was effective getting to the rim for the easy finish and opening space for teammates around the basket. He showed his skill while playing at the Georgia Challenge.
