Christopher Smalls
Guard
Class of 2019
Brookwood HS

Strengths – Smalls is a left-handed guard that made an impression with his shooting ability. He knocked down jumpers off of screens and in transition. His ability to space passed the arc forces defenders to track him around the perimeter. This skill makes him a perfect compliment to form formidable tandem with a slashing guard opposite of him. Smalls proved he was more than just a spot up shooter during camp. He moved well off of screens and proved he could put the ball on the deck to score. Smalls is a capable scorer both in the half-court and in transition.

Areas of Improvement – While Smalls is an adept ball handler, he still has room to grow as a play-maker. Learning how to put the ball on the floor to create for others as well as himself is a next level skill that he should be able to master. Proving that he can use the ball screen to score as well as setting up his teammates anywhere on the court to score is a good place for him to star this upcoming season.
