OTR Hoops: 2026 Midseason Stock Risers in Florida (Part1)

We have reached the midway point of the 2025-2026 high school basketball season across the state of Florida. Here are some of the top stock risers in this year’s senior class.

Nathan Kirk - DME Academy - 2026

Kirk is a versatile weapon on the offensive end of the floor, where he can knock down shots on all three levels, whether it’s off the bounce or catch. He is a well-balanced guard when it comes to scoring as well as facilitating, where he forces the defense to collapse on him. Kirk plays with a ton of poise and patience, and he makes smart decisions when he has the basketball in his hands. On defense, he is very quick and active, whether it’s guarding the ball or in the passing lanes. He could be a steal for a mid-major program at the college level with his two-way playmaking abilities.

Ethan Bevis - The Villages Charter - 2026

The Air Force signee is known for his all-around game, where he brings a versatile skill set, whether it’s being the primary ball-handler or his ability to play off the ball at a high level. On offense, he can score from anywhere in the half-court, whether it’s off the catch or bounce. He can also get to the front of the rim finishing through traffic with his strong blend of athleticism. On defense, his length allows him to guard multiple positions. He is a strong rebounder, disruptive in the passing lanes, and does a very good job when it comes to stopping transition. His size is next level, where he could play multiple positions when he gets to the Air Force Academy.

Marvin Christie - Providence School - 2026:

The Jacksonville State University signee is one of the top two-way guards you will find in the state of Florida. On offense, he is a high-level shot creator, whether it’s attacking the basket or shooting from behind the arc. He has a strong handle where he can create space as well as make strong, accurate passes to his teammates. On defense, he is versatile, as he can guard positions 1 through 3 with his length and athleticism.

Evan Roberts - Parrish Community - 2026

The Jacksonville University commit is a dynamic playmaker, whether it’s in the half-court or in transition. He can finish at the front of the rim at the point of attack, as well as being a strong passer when it comes to penetration, finding the open shooters. His high-IQ allows him to be able to read defenses and ability to play under control, where he doesn’t get rattled when opponents blitz him. His impact on the defensive end will allow him to make an immediate impact when he gets to the next level, as he can guard on and off the ball at a high level.

Connor Corris - Windermere Prep - 2026

The 6-foot-8 small forward can impact the game in a variety of ways. On offense, he can make defenders pay with his ability to stretch the floor, knocking down shots from the perimeter as well as finishing at the point of attack at the rim. On the defensive end, he plays with underrated athleticism as well as versatility, where he can guard positions 1 through 4 and is a high-level rebounder for his size. Look for Corris to be on the rise for a lot of college coaches during the second half of the season.

Ethan Sabec - Calvary Christian (Clearwater)

The Princeton University signee has emerged as one of the top two-way wings this season, where he can shoot from the perimeter as well as at the front of the rim at the point of attack. He is impressive on the defensive end as well, with his versatility and length, where he can be effective in the passing lanes as well as playing at the rim. He is a double-double threat every time he steps onto the floor.
