GREENSBORO, North Carolina – On the Radar Hoops partnered with Rise Hoops to host the Carolina Havoc at the Greensboro Coliseum last weekend. This was an opportunity for teams from the Tar Heel State and neighboring states to get quality competition ahead of the NCAA Live Period this upcoming weekend. Also, playing in front of numerous media outlets provides individuals with the chance to be recognized for their skills. Here is a selection of players who earned that attention.

Kasyn Chase – Warriors Life Elite – 2027

Chase is the tip of the spear for the Warriors’ attack on both ends of the floor. He is an aggressive driver with the ball. He can dictate the pace of play with his aggression while at the same time drain jumpers when defenders decide to give him space. Defensively, Chase exerts the most havoc. His quick feet and anticipation skills help him disrupt the opposition’s rhythm. Chase is a key factor in the Warriors’ success so far this year.

Treyvon Robinson – PSB Elite Walker – 2027

There were a number of talented guards in the building last weekend. Robinson submitted his application to be considered among the best. While there are prospects who may have more size, Robinson blends a quick burst off the dribble and touch on his perimeter jumper. We came away impressed with his feel and finesse with the ball.

Aiden Rochevot – PSB Barnes – 2027

Coach Barnes’ team is deep and talented. They run an offense that is fluid and they execute consistently. When discussing offenses that are performed at a high level, you always look to the ball handlers to see what they are doing well. Rochevot proved to be the engine for this team as a handler, communicator, and playmaker. The 6-foot guard is skilled while also possessing the necessary strength and athleticism to compete at high levels. Given the PSB program’s success in getting their guards opportunities at the next level, we expect Rochevot to continue that pattern should he choose to do so.

KJ Taylor – Rare 1s – 2027

Taylor caught fire in the final game of the day for his team, which only had five players on the roster. He and his teammates were left with little choice other than to play to the hilt and they walked away with an impressive win over PSB Barnes. Taylor is a skilled guard who can heat up from the 3-point line when he finds his rhythm. He is also an adept ball handler who can slink through traffic to score and create for others.

Zacca’I Lee – Warriors Life Elite – 2028

In the discussion of 16U OTR Circuit, Lee’s name is going to be thrown around as an MVP candidate. Coach Parson’s group has been one of the more consistent teams this spring and Lee is a big part of that success. His impact begins with his size and strength. His 6-foot-3 frame is strong and is matched with quick feet, which is a nightmare for smaller perimeter players. Parson’s group focuses on the defensive end where Lee is central to that gameplan. On the offensive end, Lee is tough in traffic when he puts the ball on the floor with the intent to score.

Jackson Reed – Charlotte Aces – 2028

Reed has incredible upside. The 6-foot-7 prospect out of Denver, North Carolina, is a hybrid forward who can impact the game on the front line or in the high post. His footwork and agility are solid. He is showing ball skills in the face-up game, which will give college coaches a reason to be hopeful. Reed is more than potential. He produced this weekend. We watched him drop 13 points and snag many rebounds in a win on Saturday evening. He is one of the few 2028 prospects that is producing in the 17U division of the OTR Circuit.

Caden Carolina – Greensboro Warriors – 2029

In one of the first games we watched on Saturday morning, we immediately tabbed Carolina as a standout player. He is a versatile left-handed wing who can score in traffic or while facing up from the perimeter. His game is unique because of his footwork and body control that allows him to get angles to score. He has good size, coming in around 6-foot-2 or 6-foot-3, but he is still able to score over taller players because he knows how to carve space in traffic.

Judah Boyce – Dub Salem – 2029

The Dub Salem program was all the buzz last weekend. Their 17U team mowed through the competition. And their 15U team featured a number of talented and promising prospects including Boyce. Boyce measures around 6-foot-3 and by looking at his feet and frame, it does not look like he is done growing either. This is exciting particularly when you pair his athletic promise with his current skill set. He has a confident release from the arc, but he is far from a standstill spot-up shooter. We watched him put the ball on the deck and shoulder his way to the bucket past defenders to score. It may be too early to project Boyce’s final trajectory, but there is a good chance that we will be talking about him for years to come.
