OTR Hoops: Season in Review (Florida Edition) - 2026’s in Focus- Part 3

We have reached the end of the 2025-2026 regular season in high school basketball across the Sunshine State. I was able to attend and watch some intriguing games this season, as well as review film on players outside of my coverage area.

Today, we will focus on our senior class, as many players remain unsigned or uncommitted about where they will play their collegiate basketball careers.

Iean Allen - Northside Christian

Allen is a smooth and shifty guard who can operate in transition as well as in a half-court offense. He can also take over as a lead guard at times with his high-IQ and court vision. His size and frame allow him to be effective when finishing around the rim or occasionally knock down a mid-range jumper off the bounce. On the defensive end, his vocal leadership is top-notch, as he can be productive guarding on or off the ball at a high level. He is an above-average rebounder from the guard position, where his length causes havoc for the opposition.

Ben Bunnell - Windermere

Bunnell has a smooth release that is effective on all three scoring levels on the offensive end. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard can operate on the interior as well, where his body control and length allow him to be effective when finishing around the rim. He is also unafraid when it comes to playing through contact, as he can earn trips to the free-throw line with his ability to catch defenders off balance. He is also efficient on the defensive end, where his length and athleticism allow him to attack the passing lanes. He is also an above-average rebounder for his size, where he can get out in transition with his smooth handle and ability to kick ahead on lead passes.

Shiva Atwal - Lake Highland Prep

Atwal has become one of the top catch-and-shoot threats in the state, where he can connect on all three scoring levels on the offensive end. He has also improved as a passer and rebounder, where he doesn’t need to be the lead guard to make an impact on the floor. His defensive presence has improved this season, as his versatility allows him to guard multiple positions. His size from the guard spot, as well as his shooting ability, should attract college coaches as he winds down his senior season remaining unsigned.

Arcadian Davis - Seffner Christian Academy

Davis is a two-way playmaker who excels with a great deal of length and versatility. On offense, Davis excels in pick-and-roll situations where he can finish around the rim as well as get to his spots in the mid-range. On defense, he can guard positions 1 through 5 at a high level, where he is active in the passing lanes, as well as altering and blocking shots at the rim.

Kristopher Foote - Clearwater

Foote is a tough defender who can apply havoc out on the perimeter, as well as utilize his athleticism when it comes to playing at the rim. On the offensive end, he is a highly touted three-level scorer who gets to his spots on and off the ball. He is also very effective when using his athleticism to get to the front of the rim on several occasions. Foote averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game this season for the Tornadoes.

Stefan Frisby - Western

Frisby is a true point guard who finds open teammates on the move, as well as having great control of the basketball in the half-court on the offensive end. He is a great passer from the lead guard position, as well as getting to his spots to set up opportunities to score. On the defensive end, he can guard on and off the ball at a high level, where he plays with a ton of energy in the passing lanes. His rebounding is an underrated skillset he brings, as his athleticism doesn’t allow the opposition to get many second-chance scoring opportunities.

Thok Gol - Victory Christian Academy

Gol is active on the glass on both ends of the floor, where he is also an excellent rim-runner when it comes to running the floor in transition. His long reach makes havoc on both ends of the floor, limiting the opposition from getting second-chance points on the defensive end, as well as finishing put-backs on the offensive end. He can also guard on the perimeter with his length and athleticism. Gol averaged 6.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in his first full season back after sustaining a season-ending ACL injury during his junior year.

Jordan Quince - Westminster Academy

Quince is a matchup problem on both ends of the floor, where he plays with a ton of length and poise. On offense, he is creative at his own shot off the bounce as well as the catch, as his most dangerous spots are in the mid-range. He can also thrive when it comes to scoring from the perimeter on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he plays with toughness, length, and energy, where he is most active when it comes to pursuing the passing lanes. With his combination skillset of multi-level scoring and high-level defense, Quince could be a steal for any college coach at the next level.
