LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga, — The Southern Hoops Report Spring Showcase is the preeminent transitional event between high school and travel ball in the southeast. An opportunity for players to build momentum ahead of the spring, an opportunity to be seen by scouting services and college coaches, this camp perennially delivers on giving players a spring platform to showcase their strengths.

With all of the talent in the building, here are five of the standouts of the day:

Micah Jones - North Gwinnett - 2026: Jones was one of the MVPs of the afternoon. His two-way versatility was a separator. He bought good energy on defense and guarded the perimeter while also showing that he can play big and wall up to protect the rim. Offensively, Jones showed he can be a playmaker for himself and others with good feel as a passer. Jones was a productive slasher throughout the afternoon as well.

Anei Majock - Genesis Christian Academy - 2027: There may not have been more impressive upside potential in the gym than Majock’s. A skilled 6-foot-9, has a good enough handle to create off the bounce. He showed off some wiggle to shake defenders and added strength to play through contact at the rim.  In previous viewings, Majock hit jumpers with good range. That was more of the case on Sunday. He consistently hit tough ones over defenders too.

Devon McField - Hebron Christian - 2026: Looking over to whichever court McField was playing on saw him making play after play. He’s a shifty guard and routinely got to his spots. He was able to create separation for himself to get to his jumper. McField also attacked open lanes and got to the rim time and time again.

Justin Cunningham - St. Francis - 2026: Cunningham has shown—across multiple platforms—that he’s a quintessential point guard. No matter the setting, he makes everyone around him better. A pass-first guy, he shares the wealth as well as any guard in Georgia. He was assertive in his pursuit of the rim on Sunday too.

Jiothiang Wuor - Genesis Christian Academy - 2027: Wuor was one of the pleasant surprises of the day. Starting on drill stations, his ability to hit shots was evident, but that carried into afternoon scrimmages as well. He has good 6-foot-7ish size—maybe 6-foot-8ish—to shoot over defenders. His smooth stroke should earn him some buzz when we get deeper into the spring.
