MARIETTA, Ga. — The first Live Period of the summer is officially underway, where we have over 200 teams competing across four age groups, and nearly two dozen coaches have checked out prospects in the class of 2026 and 2027. Here is who stood out on Sunday:

Jaryn Williams - Team S.M.A.S.H Pro OTR - 2028
The 6-foot-2 sophomore combo guard played with a high motor and energy on both ends of the floor, where he was scoring on all three levels as the primary ball-handler and brought the ability to get to his spots off the ball on the offensive end. He made his presence felt from the opening jump, where he knocked down four of his six 3-pointers in the first half in a win over G-Force Ryders. On the defensive end, he was actively guarding the passing lanes as well as being a solid rim protector from the guard position.

Chase Reuss - Palmetto City Hurricanes NXTPRO - 2027
The 5-foot-9 junior combo guard showed the ability to make plays and have an impact on both sides of the ball. On offense, he was finishing at the point of attack, navigating his way through passing lanes to finish at the rim with either hand. He was also unafraid when it came to absorbing contact and getting to the free-throw line on numerous occasions. On defense, he applied consistent pressure in passing lanes and disrupted offensive flow with his on-ball defense. His two-way impact provided a huge spark in the morning game.

Jaurice Smith Jr - Birmingham Wildcats - 2027
The 6-foot-5 junior wing provided a ton of length and mobility on both ends of the floor, where he helped lead his team to a 1-1 record on the final day of the event. On offense, he showcased his ability to finish above the rim, as well as displaying confidence in shooting from the mid-range. On defense, he guarded positions 1 through 4 with confidence and utilized his length to disrupt offensive flow. Overall, he showed the ability where he can make an impact in multiple areas and provide steady production, where he could be on the verge of having a breakout summer season.

Jeremiah Galloway - Sewer South OTR - 2028
The 6-foot-2 sophomore combo guard displayed a smooth handle when getting out in transition, as well as showing a good burst of speed when attacking the paint on the offensive end. He attacked passing gaps and made strong reads to his teammates on the move, showing his creativity from the lead guard position. On the defensive end, he stayed active by pursuing the passing lanes and snatched down timely rebounds, limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities. Galloway is a young guard who continued to get better throughout the weekend as he proved himself as a steady two-way guard, keeping Sewer South within striking distance across all four games.

Myles Graves - Team Global Select OTR - 2027
The 6-foot-2 junior guard showed his dominance when leading the offense as he displayed a smooth handle along with his decision-making when kicking ahead to teammates in transition, as well as being unafraid when it came to attacking downhill, finishing around the rim on the offensive end. On defense, he competed, rebounded the ball at a high level, contested shots around the basket, and stayed disciplined when closing out on the shooters. Graves is an emerging two-way guard who stayed engaged throughout the course of the game, where he did not take a possession off throughout the weekend. Look for the 6-foot-2 junior guard to start receiving interest as we gear up for the summer months of the AAU season.

Max Brutus - Team Global Select OTR - 2027
Brutus is a stretch-forward who can play inside as well as outside on the offensive end, where he knocked down shots at the rim and from the perimeter with confidence. On the defensive end, he rebounded the basketball, securing possessions in traffic, and limited second-chance scoring opportunities for the opposition. He also possessed great length when it came to guarding the passing lanes and staying disciplined when guarding out on the perimeter. Overall, Brutus’s performance spoke high volumes where he changed the game with his rebounding performance as well as making timely shots in the opening game of the day. Look for the 6-foot-7 rising senior forward to have an emerging summer on the Grassroots circuit.

Carter Williams - Team Global Select OTR - 2027
The 6-foot-4 junior combo guard brought his steady two-way presence throughout the weekend. On offense, he applied constant pressure on the defense, where he was able to get downhill, showing his natural ability to attack the rim both in transition and within the half-court offense. His downhill attacking style forced defenders into a tough position, where he got to the front of the rim and drew several fouls, which earned him trips to the free-throw line. On the defensive end, he used his length and body control, which allowed him to guard multiple positions, along with displaying a ton of athleticism in the passing lanes as well as being a rim protector.

Jayden Rowe - Palmetto City Hurricanes NXTPRO - 2027
The 6-foot-4 junior combo guard did a great job when it came to running the floor with purpose and played with consistent energy, where he was a constant factor in transition offense as well as in the half-court sets. He scored on all three levels in the second game of the day, where he finished with 36 points on six made 3-pointers in a tough loss to Blue Collar Basketball. On the defensive end, he used his length and athleticism when it came to rebounding, altering shots at the rim, and guarding the passing lanes. Rowe’s ability as a steady perimeter threat and finishing above the rim helped make him an immediate impact throughout the weekend. Expect Rowe to start gaining some early momentum in his recruitment following a stellar weekend where he scored in double figures in all four games.OTR Hoops: Sweet Sixteen Sunday Standouts

Zachariah Grace - Austin Rivers SE Select - 2026
The 6-foot-3 unsigned senior guard showed good size and the ability to get downhill scoring around the basket with either hand, whether it’s as the primary ball-handler or being able to get to his spots off the ball. On the defensive end, he added physicality and toughness, where he rebounded the ball, used his length to generate steals out on the perimeter, and was effective when limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities. Look for Grace to be a late bloomer, where he could potentially still have a chance to make an immediate impact at the next level, as he will be graduating high school in a couple of weeks.
