THE VILLAGES, Fla. — On the Radar Hoops makes another stop in the Sunshine State, presenting The Gauntlet. 75+ teams across four age groups are on display this weekend as they continue to prepare their teams for next month’s first Live Period of the season. Here is who stood out on Saturday:

Corey Bradford - Jax Kingsmen OTR - 2028

The 5-foot-11 point guard did a great job changing pace and played with great body control on the offensive end, where he finished effectively around the rim as well as out on the perimeter. He was also able to change direction, which was what separated him in a wire-to-wire win over Elite 8 Select. He also showed great awareness on the defensive end controlling the glass, as well as applying pressure in the passing lanes.

Jacob Bromirski - Florida Blaze UA Rise - 2027

Bromirski may have had the highlight of the day when he provided a poster dunk over a couple of defenders during their first game on Saturday against Harris Athletics. The 6-foot-4 combo guard showed his true athletic prowess in the attack, as well as showing true poise when it came to getting his teammates involved on the offensive end. His defensive versatility allowed him to be effective on the glass as well as apply pressure in the passing lanes.

Whitfield Bynoe - Sunshine Elite OTR - 2027

Bynoe did a great job when it came to making winning plays, whether it was as the lead ball-handler or playing off the ball. He made the right reads in transition and in the half-court offense by getting his teammates involved early and often. On the defensive end, he showed his true athleticism when it came to his rebounding ability by battling bigger players on the glass. Bynoe is a true two-way playmaker who shows a ton of potential and is already drawing interest from college coaches.

Bryce Hoffert - Sunshine Elite OTR - 2027

The 6-foot-6 wing made effort plays, whether it was finishing above the rim or trailing out on the perimeter, where he proved he can score on all three levels. Hoffert also showed his true versatility on the defensive end, where he can guard positions 1 through 4 using his body control and physicality around the rim and at the three-point line. He also showed contagious energy that fed off his teammates, where he competed on every possession, whether it was guarding the passing lanes or battling for rebounds. Hoffert could be on the verge of a huge breakout spring as we near the Live Period, where college coaches could start recruiting the 6-foot-6 rising senior wing.

Leon Lowman - Sunshine Elite OTR - 2028

Lowman impacted the game with his size and versatility, where he stretched the floor on the offensive end. He added a smooth handle where he played with a ton of confidence, knocking down two huge 3- pointers to lift his team to a win over Above Academy. On the defensive end, he played with toughness and energy that continued to feed off his teammates as well as altering shots around the rim and securing timely rebounds, limiting the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities.

Kyree McKelton - Harris Athletics OTR - 2026

The 6-foot-2 point guard played with true poise and patience on the offensive end, where his high IQ allowed him to take over as the lead guard. He didn’t make an impact with just his scoring, but his decision-making has made huge strides since the start of the high school season, where he helped lead Suncoast to a state championship this year. He mixed in some rebounding and playmaking on the defensive end as well, where he limited the opposition from getting second-chance scoring opportunities, as well as being a pest in the passing lanes. McKelton could make an immediate impact at the next level with a possible late start in his recruitment process.

Justice Phillips - North Point Youth OTR - 2026

The 6-foot-6 wing is an unsigned senior who made plays happen on both ends of the floor. On offense, he got out in transition, whether it was knocking down shots on the perimeter or getting easy buckets at the front of the rim. On defense, he competed using his high motor and athleticism to guard multiple positions at an elite level. His physicality in the paint was a tough matchup for the opposition to get any second-chance opportunities. A late recruiting surge isn’t out of the question for Phillips as we near the first Live Period of the season.

Juwan Scippio - North Point Youth OTR - 2026

Scippio is an all-around athlete who plays bigger than his size indicates on both ends of the floor. On the offensive end, he was knocking down shots from the perimeter off the catch as well as attacking the rim, finishing off two feet. On defense, his size and length spoke high volumes, where he rebounded at a high level, as well as altering shots at the front of the rim. He was also guarding multiple positions using his athleticism in the passing lanes as well as pressuring the ball. His two-way playmaking ability makes him a constant threat on both ends of the floor every time he steps onto the court.
