The King of Florida dropped a ton of talent in the laps of On The Radar scouts. Below are ten of the most talented prospects to touch the court at mainland high school regardless of class.
Kinmore Williams | OBT | 2027
Williams is a power 6’6 athlete who can create his shots on all levels. He has the strength and explosiveness to blow by defenders and give you poster dunks in the halfcourt. Williams was an overwhelming matchup for most of the perimeter players this weekend. Has the natural ability to take over the game as a scorer. Has all the tools to be a good defender and really locks up in big moments. Comfortable creating his own shot off the dribble. Can be a bit streaky but when he’s on he’s on. Between the physical tools, scoring advantages, and alpha dog mentality Williams is one of the more gifted basketball players in Florida’s 2027 class.
Braylon Lott | Georgia Rebels | 2027
Lott is a 6’4 guard with track star athleticism. With the ball in his hands, he’s a downhill attacker with a blazing first step and the physicality needed to push past defenders. Very capable of creating his own shot off the dribble with range beyond the high school three and the mid range. Capable of being a high volume three point shooter on or off the ball. Very projectable game as a 3 and D guard or as a secondary creator. Great combination of feel for game, athleticism, and ball skills.
Dickson Malila | Camden Elite | 2028
At 6’7 Malila is a high energy forward that affects play on both sides of the floor. His motor and pace have defenses problems all weekend. He’s an above the rim finisher with really long arms. He’s a double double threat every game. He runs the floor well, rebounds, and affects shots in the paint. Still learning the game but has the physical tools to be a game changer at this level. Naturally talented ball player who’s just scratching the surface of their game.
Zion Thomas | South Georgia Tarheels | 2027
Thomas is 6’4 guard who plays at his own pace while sprinkling in explosive plays. Thomas is a powerful athlete with a strong frame to match. He neutralized some of the best athletes and offensive creators this weekend while playing very solid defense. Thomas is a patient offensive player who lets the game come to him and makes the right play when his number is called. One of the best above the rim finishers of the weekend who gets off the ground really quickly. Can be very productive off the ball.
Emmanuel Martin | B4B | 2027
Martin is 6’8 power forward who’s light on his feet. He’s a good finisher and rebounder who excels when he’s inside the paint. He’s currently working on his ability to stretch the floor and has a mechanically sound jumper but is very streaky at Themis point in his development. Martin already has a frame fit for college basketball with the physical toughness you use it effectively.
Marckency Darius | OBT | 2027
At 6’7 Darius can be a versatile defensive anchor. He’s vocal and intense on both ends of the floor. He's a natural basketball player with a ton of intangibles that you just can’t teach. He has the foot speed and length to guard 2-4. Good for runners and finishes above the rim with ease. So naturally talented he Florida National University signed with little high school experience.
Elie Mukanya | Camden Elite | 2028
Mukanya is a 6’5 wing forward with a ridiculous motor. He plays every minute like it’s the final 2 minutes of the game. He does everything at a frantic pace. Mukanya showcased a wide range of skills throughout the weekend. In one game he played, he was an athletic finisher who left the game with a dominant double double and several dunks. In another he showed off his ball skills by going coast to coast and speeding past defenders. In another game he put all of his skills together to his mid range jumpers off the dribble, while causing turnovers on defense, and cleaning up the boards. Great combination of athletic upside and a growing skill set.
Mekei Spencer | Georgia Rebels | 2026
Spencer is a 6’2 guard who can create shots for himself and others any time the ball is in his hands. His snatch back dribble creates a ton of space and he has counters to go with it. He’s one of the best on ball shooters I’ve seen this summer and he hits shots from all over the floor. Spencer can get hot in a hurry. He rarely takes shots outside of the flow of the offense and still managed to walk away with 15 or more points in each game. Competitive on both ends of the floor. As easy as it is for Spencer to score or create his own shot he’s mindful enough to get his teammates involved and run an offense.
Monte Colvin | South Georgia Tarheels | 2027
Colvin is a 6’4 wing with a great frame and a solid off ball scoring package. He can be a bigger ball handler or a secondary ball handler on a team with multiple guards. He’s a good athlete who can make plays at the rim. With his size, length, and athleticism he can be a positional defender who has the strength to check good athletes. Can shoot on and off the ball with range beyond the high school three.
Antwan Edmonds | South Georgia Tarheels | 2027
Edmonds is a 6’3 guard with a very versatile game. When he’s on the ball he showcases an ability to create shots beyond the line and get downhill to score at the rim. Edmonds has the athleticism to finish an above the rim on the break and block shots at the rim in transition. He has a nose for making the right plays especially when the game is moving fast. Off the ball he’s a reliable 3 point shooter near the college three. He's a good finisher in the paint. Edmonds is a solid cutter and comfortable rolling to the basket when other ball handlers are getting paint touches.
