Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Last weekend provided a great opportunity for a number of prospects in the areas around Middle Tennessee to be seen and get on the radar of our OTRHoopsReport.com staff. Here is a quick look at a few names that left an impression.
A young point guard from the Clarksville, Tenn. area that showed promise was class of 2017 Austin Fisher. The skilled guard showed the ability to handle the ball and showed a great form on his jumper.
We liked what we saw from class of 2016 point guard Desean Douthard of Antioch, Tenn. The 5-foot-11 point guard demonstrated great body control with the ball in his hands. He has an advanced sense of how to control the offense as a lead guard.
Jalen Fearn showed great activity as a perimeter player who can play either guard position. The class of 2015 prospect is active on the defensive end and has the ability to hit open shots.
Freshman forward Coby Grubbs of Christiana, Tenn., showed a solid release on his jumper and length to match. He will be a prospect to keep eye on as he develops at Oakland High School.
Remember the name Arecko Gipson of Memphis, Tenn. He made an impression at the camp and has not even entered high school yet.
