Norcross, Ga. – The Hilton Invitational has set the bar high for one-day showcases nationwide. Many of the top programs around the country participated in the event. Here are several unsigned seniors that took advantage of the spot light:
Trhae Mitchell – (Mabelton, GA) – Pebblebrook High School – 2015
Trhae Mitchell of Pebblebrook, Ga., is a high energy wing who has the ability to take the ball to the basket strong and aggressively which is the strength of his game. He scores in transition by getting to the rim and is athletic enough to finish above the rim with a clear path. He can make three’s with needed time and space.
Tracy Hector – (Jonesboro, GA) – Jonesboro High School -2015
Jonesboro is one of the top teams in the state of Georgia with plenty of talent. Senior wing Tracy Hector was great for Jonesboro in a win over Spain Park finishing with 15 points. Earlier in the fall Hector took a visit to the Citadel and has attracted the attention of many low major programs around the country.
Tim Cameron – (Norcross, GA) – Norcross High School – 2015
Cameron can get to the rim at will with his attacking style of play off the dribble. He is a physical driver and slasher that use his strong body not only to beat defenders to the rim but finish through contact on a regular basis. Florida Gult Coast was in attendance at the Hilton Invitational to get a first hand look at Cameron.
Kevin Murphy – (Mabelton, GA) – Pebblebrook High School – 2015
Murphy is big, strong, high energy and active player. I like his attack mentality and his relentless efforts on the glass have become a trademark of his game. Murphy is a good 4 man prospect, what he lacks in size he more than makes up in effort and toughness.
