Player spotlight on Michael Cage Jr.
Mater Dei class of 2016 center Michael Cage Jr. was one of the more impressive players at the Nike Extravaganza. The son of former NBA standout Michael Cage held his own against some of the top big men in the country.

Cage is a mobile post that runs the floor extremely well. He plays with great intensity on both ends of the floor. This 6-foot-10 center uses his hands to score with jump hooks and put backs around the basket. He is a good area rebounder on both ends and defensively he does a nice job of blocking and changing shots.
This sophomore center has picked up offers from some of the top programs in the country such as Arizona, Gonzaga, Kentucky, San Diego State, UCLA and Washington.
