Last year North Gwinnett was upset in the first game of the Region Tournament which eliminated their hopes of advancing deep into the State Tournament. This year the junior guard Tobias Howard is determined to help North Gwinnett bring a State Championship back to 20 Level Creek Road. Howard has all of the tools that will enable him to score on most anyone. He has the ability to shoot the ball from well beyond three-point range with consistency. In addition his nifty ball-handling skills allow him to break down defenders to get into the lane where he can finish with a floater or find open teammates for the easy bucket.

The 6-foot guard is averaging 19 points per game helping the Bulldogs to a 25-3 record and a Region Championship. On Saturday evening Howard finished with 15 points in a 20 point win over Etowah, which helped advance his team to the Sweet 16 where they will match up versus Lambert this evening.
