Joe Gordon – (Duluth, GA.), –Duluth High School– 2015

Height: 5’10

Position: Point Guard

Gordon was huge down the stretch for Duluth High School helping them come back from a double digit deficit.  This 5-foot-9 guard is crafty and clever with the ball in his hands. He does a good job of handling the ball in transition, pushing the ball coast to coast with a speed dribble or advancing the ball with a pass.  From his penetration, he does a good job at reading the help defense and dumping off the ball to an open teammate under the basket or kicking the ball out spotting his open teammate.  Defensively, he is a tough on the ball defender who applies pressure on his opponent for 94 feet. He gets into passing lanes with good anticipation as he comes up with some steals.  Duluth is a talented team that has a chance to finish at the top of 7-AAAAAA and Gordon will be a big factor in Duluth’s progression this season.
