Avi Tommer – (Atlanta, Ga), –Grady– 2016
Height: 6’2
Position: Shooting Guard
Toomer is a shooting guard that is always on the attack. He gets to the rim in transition and finishes with layups and pull up jumpers. He thinks score first on every catch. Toomer has a great burst of speed and terrific first step that allows him to beat defenders off the dribble. He has range that extends out to the 3-point line and uses his leaping ability to elevate over defenders for mid-range, pull-up jumpers.
He can also provide aid at the point guard position although he is a shooting guard first. His handle is pretty good and he can drive draw and kick to open teammates when multiple defenders come from the weak side to slow his penetration. This 6-foot-2 shooting guard will be a hot commodity this spring and summer, He currently holds offers from Furman and UAB.
