Jacara Cross – (Ellenwood, Ga), –Cedar Grove– 2016
Height: 6’7
Position: Power Forward
This 6-foot-7 forward was relatively unknown before the start of the season. Cross has helped his team to the Elite Eight of the Georgia High School Association Class AAA. He has good hands and is an athletic finisher above the rim. He’s also a good rebounder especially on the offensive end of the floor. He consistently has a hand on the ball to create second chance opportunities. Cross averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds per game this season while claiming Region Player of the Year honors. He will be a player for coaches around the country to keep tabs on this spring and summer.
