Atlanta, Ga – There is plenty of movement on the recruiting frontier this spring as college coaches jockey to land impact recruits for their programs. Most of the recruiting chatter that is reported deals with 2019 prospects. Here are several prospects that we tabbed as stock risers.
Alec Oglesby – Collins Hill (GA)
Alec has a unique style of play. His body language on the court impresses and has major upside. Once Alec develops, he will be hard to stop. He is already capable of attacking off the bounce and is persistent at his decision making. Alec will be running with Game Elite this summer and will be preparing for a big role next season with Collins Hill going into his junior year.
Alyn Breed – McEachern (GA)
Playing behind prospects such as Sharife Cooper, Isaac Okoro, Babatunde Akingbola, Charles Smith IV, and Jared Jones on a stacked McEachern squad, 2020 guard Alyn Breed does not really get the attention that he would get anywhere else. Breed is certainly an under the radar player colleges coaches should keep an eye on. Only a sophomore, Breed is able to knock down his shots from deep, which gives McEachern a threat from the perimeter. He is a gifted athlete who’s patient on the offensive end. Breed will be running with Athletes of Tomorrow on the Nike EYBL circuit.
Alyn Breed is right at home here at McEachern. The anticipation. The steal. The slam.

Caleb Murphy – Norcross (GA)
Caleb Murphy recently impressed this past season for the Blue Devils. Let that just be the begin for the sophomore guard out of Norcross High School. Caleb is an impressive finisher when it comes to finishing at the rim. He has the skills to be a playmaker. He will give Norcross some depth at the guard position next season as hell will be returning for his junior year. Caleb is running with the ATL Playmakers this spring and summer.
Toneari Lane – Shiloh (GA)
Lane had a very productive sophomore campaign this year with Shiloh High School. Toneari will be running with Stackhouse Elite this spring and summer. He is a physical guard who can grab offense and defensive rebounds. He has fantastic bouncing ability and can throw it down on a defender if he has to when getting to the basket. Toneari is very efficient on the defensive side of the ball as well. His stock will continue to rise as he works and develops his game.

Luke Champion – Lambert (GA)
If you are looking for a consistent 3pt shot maker, here is your guy. Luke is a sniper from deep and can get hot very quickly. He is an efficient 3pt specialist. He is a lengthy wing on the perimeter and can spread the opposing defense being a threat from outside the arc. Luke will be running with the Georgia Stars this spring and summer.
KD Johnson – Southwest Dekalb (GA)
Johnson has the quickness and the mentality that fuels his ability to score almost at will, regardless of the level of defenders. He believes that he can score on anyone and generally that sort of thinking proves him correct. Look for Johnson’s recruitment to take off this spring and summer.
