#OTRHoopsReport: What We Learned – Eubanks & Nzei – Jan. 23, 2014

HYATTSVILLE, Md. – The Team Takeover National Hoops Showcase was an outstanding stage for some of the region’s standout prospects to showcase their skills. There were over 20 Division One college coaches in the Wooten Gymnasium. Two unsigned seniors in Kobe Eubanks and Mike Nzei made the most of their opportunity shining bright on the big stage.

Kobe Eubanks (Centereach, N.Y.) – Our Savior New American – 2014

Eubanks has great size at the two position. A right-handed shooter, he knocked down multiple 3-pointers here tonight. He’s a good athlete as well on both ends. A four-star prospect, the 6-foot-5 senior guard is easily one of the top scoring threats remaining in the class nationwide. The #TeamPSB Recruiting Blog has the updated look at Eubanks recent recruiting offers.

Mike Nzei (Centereach, N.Y.) – Our Savior New American – 2014

Standing at 6-7, Nzei is a springy power forward who showed a willingness to rebound the basketball and finish with authority. Offensively, he didn’t get a lot of looks but did make a nice right hand half hook showing some touch around the rim. We project him as a guy capable of potentially playing either forward position at the next level. This summer, he added a scholarship offer from Iowa after a solid July evaluation period.
