PLAYERS FEATURED
The On the Radar Elite 32 Live Period wrapped up this past weekend in Cumming, Georgia. College coaches from multiple levels filled the gyms to evaluate talent. Here are some of the players who stood out in the 17U division.
Getting Buckets

Zi’on Thomas - Gold Elite OTR – 2027
Thomas showed up as one of the top athletes on the OTR Circuit. He carried that same energy into the live period. He averaged more than 21 points per game. He finished above the rim and knocked down threes. College coaches should keep the 6-foot-5 shooting guard on their list the rest of this month.

Alex Cheek - Tennessee Panthers Basketball Club – 2027
Cheek put up 21 points per game over the weekend. The 6-foot guard also grabbed eight rebounds per game. Coach McInnis of the Panthers called out his “elite athleticism” and “elite midrange” game. His game should translate well to the next level.

Ayaan Bhadouria - PSB Tampa OTR – 2027
Bhadouria kept up his strong play this season. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged nearly 20 points per game at the Elite 32. He scores in different ways, which makes him tough to guard. He mixes perimeter shooting with strong drives. He also pulled down nearly eight rebounds per game.

Chase Mohn - Triangle Offense Elite – 2027
Mohn earned more attention this summer. He averaged 18.5 points per game for Triangle Offense Elite. @RoseySportsUSA put it well: “G Chase Mohn continues to show his craftsmanship offensively. He is a great isolation scoring threat, poised and looks very comfortable creating off the dribble.”

Jourden Smoak - Atlanta Panthers – 2027
Smoak remains one of the most consistent guards on the circuit. He averaged 17 points per game at the Elite 32. Coaches often note his high motor and effort on both ends.
Jaylen Nelson - Devin Butt Elite Culpepper - 2027
Nelson stood out last weekend. He averaged 17 points per game and made a strong case as one of the top guards in Georgia. His coaches highlighted his shot-making efficiency. He is a name to follow as July moves forward.
Rony Jean - Beach Boys OTR – 2027
Jean had a solid weekend for Beach Boys. He averaged nearly 16 points per game. The 6-foot-2 point guard hit open jumpers from deep. He stayed consistent off the dribble and used his moves to finish at the rim.

Kevin Rogers - Atlanta Kings – 2027
Rogers has built a reputation as an elite scorer. He backed it up with another 17-point average. He dropped 23 points against Sunshine Elite. The Cedar Grove High School product belongs on every Southeast school’s target list this July.

TJ Gipson - Only1Elite – 2027
We first saw Gipson at The Opening in March. He has stayed consistent. This weekend might have been his best yet. The 6-foot-2 guard from Clarke Central High School averaged 18 points per game. Defenses felt pressure every time they faced him.
Interior Presence

Caleb Cooper - Atlanta Kings - 2027
Cooper made a name for himself last weekend. The 6-foot-6 forward averaged two blocks per game and had a double-double in one contest. He came in with a reputation as a rebounder and picked up more momentum heading into the rest of July.

Dominion Bunch - All Georgia Elite - 2027
We flagged Bunch as a player to watch before the live period. He delivered. He averaged a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. His best game was 27 points and 14 rebounds. The 6-foot-6 forward uses agility, strength, and explosiveness in the paint.
Tyree Travis - Gold Elite OTR – 2027
Gold Elite coaches have called Travis the best interior defender on the circuit all season. He backed that up again. He averaged two blocks per game at the Elite 32. The 6-foot-6 forward should stay on radars the rest of the month.
Playmakers

Dwayne Foreman III - Powerhouse Bulls – 2027
Foreman III shows up as a standout at most OTR events. He runs the show as a floor general. He led the Bulls in points and assists again last weekend. He remains one of the top playmakers on the circuit.

Luke Beaver - Georgia Legacy – 2027
Beaver is a 6-foot-2 point guard who could be a hidden gem for the right college coach. He averaged eight assists per game at the Elite 32. He scores when needed, but this weekend showed he can run a team and get others involved.

Ayden Thomas - Team Person Red - 2028
Point guard Ayden Thomas took a big step forward last weekend. He ran the show for Team Person and had one of the stronger weekends on the circuit. He averaged 20 points and six assists. @RoseySportsUSA said it well: “Ayden Thomas is an extremely quick, shifty, sharpshooting playmaker. He can blow by primary defenders, get paint touches and loves getting his BIGS involved. Ayden shoots the ball lights out with range and accuracy.”

Brandon Bell – HWPO – 2027
Bell has shown strong facilitating skills all year. This weekend he added scoring to the mix. His line of 17 points, six assists, and four rebounds per game shows he is a complete playmaker.
Jevon Sullivan - Georgia Canes – 2027
Sullivan stood out mostly on defense last weekend. His coaches called him a gritty defender. OTR scout Joel Hillsman highlighted his scrappiness in a key moment. The 5-foot-11 guard from Eastside High School should get more eyes this month.

Malik Hand – 100 Kings – 2027
Hand played at a high level. Coaches praised his court IQ, vision, and leadership. The 6-foot point guard from Eagles Landing High School rose in stock this month.
All-Around Impact

Martaiveis Rice - Gold Elite OTR – 2027
Rice brings high energy and effort every time out. Lately he has shown he can score at a high level too. We noticed his scoring at the OTR X SHR Shootout in June. He averaged nearly 18 points per game at the Elite 32 while staying locked in on defense. The 6-foot-4 wing does it on both ends.
Tyler Harris - Warner Robins All-Stars – 2027
Harris made his presence felt all over the stat sheet. He averaged nearly a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. He added three assists and two blocks per game. That kind of all-around impact stands out at this level.
Jackson Reed - Charlotte ACES – 2028
Reed is building a case as one of the top 2028 prospects playing up in 17U. Coach Ligon called him a “versatile, Swiss Army Knife.” He found his perimeter shot this weekend. College coaches should have him on their futures list.
Leo Wilkins - Atlanta Standard – 2027
Wilkins reminds us that winning goes beyond scoring. He applied full-court pressure and averaged nearly three steals per game. He also scored in double figures while his team went 4-1. As the grandson of Hall of Famer Lenny Wilkins, he carries winner’s DNA.

Qua Watson - Only1Elite – 2027
Watson has built a name as a strong two-way player on the circuit. He moved to Central Gwinnett High School this summer and looks more comfortable. He averaged nearly 20 points and eight rebounds. The 6-foot-4 guard brings length, twitch, and scoring.

Clinton McCants - Georgia Canes – 2027
McCants may have been the biggest stock riser at the Elite 32. The 6-foot-4 point guard led the Canes in scoring and added timely defense. OTR scout Joel Hillsman spotlighted his 23-point game with six threes. The McEachern product will draw college attention the rest of the month.

Landon Johnson - Charlotte ACES – 2027
Johnson makes winning plays. He may not lead the scoring, but he rebounds, defends, and gets tough buckets. The ACES had a rough weekend, but Johnson will be key when they bounce back.
Zamari Paulk - On-Go Elite – 2027
Paulk is a 6-foot-3 guard from South Georgia. He came in known for defense and athleticism. At the Elite 32 he showed he can score too. He averaged 17 points by attacking the rim. His two-way game deserves a look.
Cam Gaines – HWPO – 2027
Gaines averaged 16 points and five rebounds. His real value shows in effort. He defends hard and impacts the game with energy all over the floor.
