The OTR Birmingham Classic marked the second week of the OTR Circuit. We were introduced to a new program in the Atlanta Standard while also watching the continued success of the Warner Robins All-Stars. The young men from Everything Earned 15U are proving that they should be taken seriously this season. Here is a recap of week two on the OTR Circuit.

17U

The Georgia Canes played two games in Birmingham. They were just an overtime bucket away from being 2-0 on the weekend. Donte' Medlock’s group is showing promise behind the playmaking of Nigel Broome. He looks like the early candidate for star of the Canes squad this year. But they are far from a one-man show. Guards Peyton Moore and Carmello Williams are certainly capable of being stars in their roles. Post Zech Preston will certainly draw the attention of college coaches during the live period given his 6-foot-10 frame and defensive ability.

The Warner Robins All-Stars debuted on the circuit last week, turning in a 2-2 record. Class of 2028 guard Jarvis ‘JuJu’ Williams was an early standout, hitting seven 3-pointers in a game. Guards Tristan Warren and Kam Thomas had good moments scoring and handling the ball. Forward Tyler Harris should be noted as a potential X-factor this season. He is a hustle player who will come up with timely defensive plays and could be a big part of Coach Brooks’ game plan moving forward.

Atlanta Standard gave a great opening impression on the circuit last weekend. This 17U team has several 2028 prospects on the roster and still managed a 2-2 record for the weekend. This squad brings a nice balance of interior and perimeter production. Frank Jamieson and Mike Lynch displayed terrific interior passing and the ability to finish in traffic, whereas guards Carter King, Trent Witte, and Toby Stretch did their jobs with shooting and ball handling.

16U

The Warner Robins All-Stars 16U crew turned in a perfect 4-0 record in their first tournament of the spring. This is a promising group given their youth. Class of 2029 point guard Mykell Barnes and class of 2030 guard Zorian Willis are playing above their age group and still experiencing success. Evaluators will be tracking their progress throughout this spring and summer.

15U

The 15U division is shaping up to be perhaps the most competitive of all the divisions on the OTR Circuit. Heading up that list to watch must be Everything Earned. They finished off a 4-0 record in Birmingham to push their record to 7-1 over the two weekends. Joetavious Haviour is a dependable contributor game in and game out, averaging a double-double in points and rebounds. Kingston Allen is averaging 18 points per game, while Damon Flint is averaging 17 points per game. Caden Lowe, who did not play at the Opening, contributed 15 points per game at the Birmingham Classic. We cannot forget to mention Jayvion Sherrod, who could be the best athlete of the bunch. He hit a game-winner over Warner Robins All-Stars. Coach Bryant’s squad looks balanced and ready to take on all challengers this spring.

Atlanta Standard turned in a perfect 4-0 record as well in Birmingham. Of all the 15U teams we have evaluated so far, this group might have the most depth. They bring in players off the bench who are talented and productive. Point guard Liam McTeer had the breakout performance of the weekend for this group, putting up 20+ points per game on Saturday. He is flanked by Bear Bridges, Logan Hunt, and Alton Sapp in the backcourt. Sam Cockrell works on the wing as a shooter and scorer in traffic. And watch for the long-term development of their post players Alex Faloye and Bryson Dickey, who each have massive athletic upsides.

Warner Robins All-Stars finished 2-2, with one of those losses coming in double overtime to Everything Earned. Point guard Tre Embry has emerged as the prospect to track on this squad. The lefty is crafty and has a nose for scoring the ball. Also be on the lookout for Kaden Carraway, as he showed potential last weekend.
