The On The Radar Circuit has been home to the next generation of talented group of basketball players. This list hosts underclassmen with the physical tools and skill sets that will make them coveted prospect.

Jayce Allen | The Rock Jax | 2030

Jayce Allen is an athletic scoring guard. As a middle school player he’s stands 6’1 with a scoring skillset that could help a high school team. He’s a good scoring option in transition who can also score in isolation plays in the halfcourt.

Logan Carmichael | The Rock Jax | 2030

Logan Carmichael is a long athletic wing who dunked in game as a seventh grader. He’s has a massive wingspan for a nearly 6’5 seventh grader. Carmichael is a unique physical talent that we have to keep an eye on. He’s plays hard and is always looking to make a big play.

Cam Joyce | The Rock Jax | 2030

Cam Joyce is a 6’5 forward who knows how to use his size in the paint. He has a strong base, good hands, and is fairly light on his feet for someone who is this size at an early age. Joyce is a good rebounder who uses his physicality to rebound his area well and rip away boards from opponents. A solid scorer inside the three point line  who can knock down mid range jumpers, has solid post footwork, and the strength to seal people in the paint.

Jaidyn Magee | SE Elite | 2029

Jaidyn Magee is an explosive athlete. His game I still a bit raw but you can’t teach a 6’6 guy to get off the ground like Magee does. He finishes well above the rim, grabs boards outside of his area, and runs the floor well. He’s a solid defender who usually guards other paint presences while being able to slide his feet briefly on switches. Magee has a learning curve to be a true standout among his 3SSB peers but has all the tools to be amongst them as he develops as a ball player.

Liam Lackaff | SE Elite | 2029

Liam Lackaff is realizing he’s way more than a three point marksmen. In fact after struggling with his jumper he’s realizing that his athletic 6’6 frame will help him become a slashing threat. Lackaff is able to put the ball on the ground for straight line drives while being a good cutter. He crashes the board well for a wing. He’s realizing there’s more ways for him to contribute to the game and it’s making him a complete player at a young age. Lackaff is also developing a sense of urgency on the defensive end that shows he has what it takes be a solid perimeter defender.

Joe Buttler | PSB Tampa | 2029

Joe Buttler is that young guard who looks like he’s played varsity basketball for years. He’s a calm, under control ball handler who knows how to get to his spots while keeping his teammates involved. He’s a good on ball and off ball shooter who can spray teams from the beyond the three point line. At around 6’1 he already has the positional size you’re looking for in the position while playing the game with IQ. He controls the game with pace and decision making.

James Williams | River City Hoops | 2031

At 6’6 Williams has a high ceiling of play. He has a solid jumper that extends to the point line. He’s comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter while playing up an age group. He’s doing but that doesn’t stop him from being an effective rebounder and passing presence. He has a ton of length that he uses on both sides of the floor. He’s a talented young ball player that could see his stock rise as he develops a feel for the game and gets stronger.
