With over 12 hours of action, there’s naturally a lot to get into. We’re continuing our coverage of the day with a look at some of the event's standouts.

Bobby Buggs - Dutchtown - 2026: Buggs is having an outstanding senior season. He was expected to be one of the best guards and has delivered. Saturday was another good one for him. He led Dutchtown to a solid win with 13 points. Nothing new there. He had a handful of steals too. Nothing new there either. He’s built a nice reputation as a scorer and pesky defender. What stood out more so was his rebounding. Buggs pitched in 7 rebounds and came up with some tough ones in traffic.

MJ Curry - Grayson - 2027: Normally it’s Curry’s burst and speed that shine. He’s as good of an athlete as there is. He showed his ability to blur by guys, sure, but he showed some more with his jumper that’s promising for the future. Curry opened the game with a made mid-range shot and followed it up with one from 3-point land. He led the Rams with 13. When he’s hitting shots, it takes his current production and long-term potential to an entirely different level.

Michael Dees - Lambert - Columbia College Commit: There were a number of Lambert runs that 2026 guard Michael Dees was in the center of. He hit big shots when it felt like they needed them the most. Dees finished with 21 for Lambert and gave them a consistent scoring punch. He was a reliable play finisher.

Pops Dunson - Alexander - Colorado State Commit: Dunson had been sidelined with an injury the last couple of times I saw Alexander. It was good to see him back on the floor. After settling into the game, he looked like the explosive scorer that he’s always been. He allowed the Cougars to breathe easy a bit late in the game when he really got going offensively. Dunson hit some big shots late and finished with 25 points. Colorado State has maintained itself as one of the better Mountain West programs this season because of their shooting. Dunson should fit in nicely with that system.

Landon Evans - St. Francis - 2028: Evans is one of the promising young forward prospects in Georgia. He has a 20-plus point day for St. Francis on Saturday. He made a killing from the elbows with his jumper. His guards were able to float him the ball there and Evans turned around and sank shots. He was also good around the basket as a scorer and rebounder. As the 2028 class starts to get more attention heading into the spring, look for Evans to build some more buzz as a versatile frontcourt piece.

Tre Keith - Tri-Cities - 2027: Tre Keith can put points on the board that’s for certain. He’s as reliable a bucket getter as there is in the southeast. What makes his output so impressive is that he’s not just a chucker. Keith is efficient with his shots and doesn’t force things. He lets the game come to him to get into a rhythm, but once he starts to get going, he can go on a heater. He’s especially dangerous with his shotmaking which is evidenced by his four 3-pointers, and several off-the-dribble pull-ups from mid-range.

Kaden Richards - Decatur - 2027: Decatur pulled off one of the wins of the season toppling one of the state’s powers on the road. Their first half wasn’t anything they wanted to remember, but the second half saw them erase a 16-point deficit in a hurry. 2027 guard Kaden Richards stepped up in a big way and hit momentum-changing shots that put the Bulldogs in a good position to pull out the W. He hit a pair of threes that ended up being the moment when it felt like Decatur had a real shot of pulling this game out.

Grant Robich - North Cobb Christian - 2027:  Robich plays with a competitiveness and energy that’s fun to watch. He doesn’t give up on plays and finds ways to get his team extra possessions whether it’s taking a charge, getting a steal, securing loose balls. Robich can score it well too. He finished with 16 for the Eagles and attacked matchups he liked to get to the rim. He just has a good mind for the game on both sides of the ball.
