PLAYERS FEATURED

Emory McIntyre - CP3 EYBL - 2030
One of the many reasons for an undefeated weekend for Team CP3 is the brilliant play from Emory McIntyre. One of the best rising freshmen in South Carolina who fills up the stat sheet every game. Great size & versatility. You can play him on or off ball. Incredible skill set to match his high IQ. Scores well from all three levels, especially getting downhill. Never rushed and always poised. His defense separated him from other guards on the floor as he’s able to defend at a high level on and off the ball.

Jason Moore - CP3 EYBL - 2030
A true gem of a player. Many have not seen a ton by many throughout the school year, but Jase is a gem to keep on your radar. He showcased a lot of versatility on both sides of the ball. Exceptional athlete with speed to match. Defended all five positions, protected the rim, and finished well around the basket. Moved well without the ball as well as running the floor hard to create mismatches for opponents. A knockdown shooter off the catch or dribble and at his size, already possesses a high-level skillset that many players in the class don’t have.

Gavin Reed - Team Gold Coast OTR - 2027
Gavin Reed was awesome all weekend. Great handle and shiftiness to get to any spot on the floor. Finishes well with either hand & a knockdown shooter off the catch. Extremely versatile offensively, can play on or off ball. Has the ability to take over a game with his shot making and shot creation. Put a lot of pressure on defenses all weekend.

Donnie Jones - Elite 1 - 2028
Donnie is as good of a guard that I saw this weekend. Playing up with the 2027 team has not been an issue for him as he remains effective despite physicality and athleticism being up a notch. He has an ultra quick first step, shifty with his movements, & an already incredible shot creator. Scored at all 3 levels & showed off his explosiveness at the rim converting ample and 1’s. Impressive showing all weekend and most importantly, he was consistent from game to game.

Sheldon Davis - Twelve Time Elite - 2029
Sheldon was on another level all weekend. Supreme athleticism, shot creation, and versatility. Scored at all three levels with efficiency while still performing at a high level on defense. Loved how well he played on & off the ball as the team needed him to do so. That type of versatility mixed with his athleticism stood out right away. His ability to beat defenders off the dribble without overdribbling was another impressive part of his game to match the aggressive downhill attacking that led to multiple dunks to get people out of their seats.

Sonny Watkins - Team Loaded South - 2030
Sonny turned heads all weekend. All the tools that coaches dream about in a player, Sonny has and then some. Long explosive athlete that finishes above the rim. Got downhill at ease but was able to knock down shots as the defense adjusted. His processing skills of how different teams played him, and how he attacked each task differently was highly impressive. He was also able to guard all five positions at a high level & provided elite rim protection, especially as a help defender

Myles King - Team Loaded South - 2030
To be this young, athletic & skilled is incredible. Myles is freakishly athletic & explosive. Lives above the rim & plays extremely hard on both sides of the ball. If he gets in the paint, there are no layups, he’s trying to break the rim. Runs the floor well in transition, attacks closeouts well in the half-court & has good shooting touch from outside the paint. It’s not all offense with him as his defensive ability is what sets him apart. Protects the rim, can switch on guards and has great attention to detail when off the ball.

Stefan Ross - PSB Elite - 2027
A more traditional power forward who possesses a good blend of size & power. Bullied defenders in the post & on the glass but also could stretch the floor when needed. Protected the rim & defended all five positions well. Consistent double double threat all weekend. The best thing about Ross was that each time he stepped on the floor, you knew exactly what you were getting. Low usage but high efficiency and effectiveness.
