The midpoint of the high school season is beyond us. There are plenty of available prospects in Georgia.
This series is a way of shining a light on some of the next-level prospects still on the board. The last time we published an edition of available wings and forwards, someone from that list committed shortly thereafter. Here’s hoping that this doesn’t age well by the time it gets tweeted out because that would only mean that a player has committed. That’s the goal here.

OTR Hoops: Senior Spotlight - Wings and Forwards
The midpoint of the high school season is beyond us. There are plenty of available prospects in Georgia.

Here are more of the available wings/forwards in Georgia:

Emmanuel Alofe, McEachern: Alofe is one of the most talented players available. Athletic with good length, Alofe can slot in on the wing or play as a stretch big. He can be a two-way menace with his disruption on defense and above-the-rim finishing on offense. Alofe has shown that he can get going from deep too. He’s someone who keeps seeing his stockrise. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him level up in college too.
Maddox Melancon, Dutchtown: Melancon is a versatile wing prospect. He can play bigger and be an around-the-basket guy, or he can help on the perimeter with his ability to handle and make plays. Melancon can play in traffic as a finisher and rebounder, and he’s shown some touch and range on his jumper.
Jake Mihalick, Habersham Central: Maybe flying under the radar a bit, Mihalick has had a tremendously productive season with Habersham Central. He’s been a double-double machine for the Raiders. One of Mihalick’s best attributes is his efficiency away from the basket. He’s arguably the most reliable unsigned big shooter in Georgia.

Enzo Wea, Meadowcreek: Wea started to make a name for himself this spring as a physical force in the paint. The buzz has amplified with consistency throughout 2025 and by sprinkling in some flashes of developable skill. Rebounding and finishing at the rim are where he’s best. Wea has plenty of power, but he can play with touch at the rim too.

Khalid Worthy, Holy Innocents’: Unsure if football or basketball will be his route, maybe both, Worthy remains one of the best frontcourt basketball prospects in Georgia’s senior class. He’s a strong, steady presence around the basket for HIES on both ends of the floor. Worthy is athletic and can be an above-the-rim finisher, but he can also play a finesse game below the rim. He’s a consistent presence on the glass and protects the rim well too.
