On the Radar was back at Suwanee Sports Academy for the annual 'Atlanta Classic' tournament. This tournament featured teams from 15U-17U from across the southeast. This will be a two part series.

James Lee | 2027 | Team Scoot: The 6’8” power forward James Lee has the size, athleticism, and skill set to project as a contender at the next level. Lee controlled the paint, finishing with 16 points while consistently impacting the game around the rim. He excels when squaring up or establishing position on the block, showing patience and making strong, decisive moves to the basket. His impressive vertical athleticism was on full display, leading to multiple highlight plays at the rim.

Jaden McCullough | 2028 | Georgia Stars: Jaden McCullough stood out this past weekend at the Atlanta Classic, establishing himself as a tough, competitive guard who is always ready to make an impact. He brings consistent energy on both ends of the floor. Defensively, McCullough is disruptive from jumping passing lanes, creating deflections, blocking shots, and turning defense into steals. Offensively, he showed versatility, knocking down perimeter shots, attacking the rim, and finishing through contact on tough plays around the basket.

Anthony Moon | 2027 | Team Person Red: College coaches are always in search of quality big men, and Anthony Moon consistently remains top of mind in those conversations. Moon was a standout throughout last season on the OTR Circuit, and he has carried that momentum into the early portion of this travel season. He routinely produces double-doubles thanks to his ability to control the glass and finish efficiently around the basket. Defensively, Moon protects the rim well and does an excellent job of keeping opponents out of the paint.

Jake Reid | 2027 | Devin Butts Elite: Jake Reid (Valdosta) had a strong weekend running the point for DBE. He plays with patience and poise, consistently reading the defense and taking what it gives him. Reid creates space on the perimeter to knock down the three, is comfortable pulling up in the mid-range, and can get to the basket when lanes open. He spaces the floor well and has a good feel for finding gaps in the defense. A smooth, shifty guard with strong decision‑making skills.

Michael Rowe | 2027 | Team Scoot: Michael Rowe is hard to miss on the court, consistently around the action and fully engaged on both ends. He plays with his head on a swivel, anticipating plays and impacting the game without needing the ball. Defensively, Rowe stays in front of his man and is disruptive, creating deflections and steals. He shows good timing as a shot blocker and rebounder, and he quickly looks to advance the ball to his guards to ignite the break.

Armond Smith | 2027 | Sewer South: Armond Smith is a sneaky, tough‑to‑contain guard who puts constant pressure on the defense. He can blow by defenders with a quick first step, finishing at the rim or dropping the ball off to bigs inside. On the defensive end, Smith uses that same quickness to generate deflections and steals both on and off the ball, then pushes the pace in transition. A guard who can score in bunches and bring energy, Smith is an exciting player to watch.

Rowan Woodrich | 2027 | Devin Butts Elite: The 6’7” power forward Rowan Woodrich is a versatile big with next‑level moves around the basket. He has a strong feel for the game and consistently finishes within five feet, showing good touch and balance. Woodrich was effective scoring with hook shots and creating angles in tight spaces. A smart, high‑IQ big who understands his role and plays efficiently within the flow of the game.
