The Atlanta Classic gathered some of Georgia’s very best prospects and programs in Gwinnett County for a packed weekend of hoops. Here’s who stood out:

PLAYERS FEATURED

Agei Aguelet - EYA - 2026
good size and length to him at the guard spot. In my opinion, defensively, he might have been one of the most impactful players on that side of the ball all weekend. Guards his yard well, timely steals, slides his feet well and still avg upwards of double digits scoring wise on the weekend. If he continues to hone in defensively that alone can take him far as he rounds out this spring/summer.

Tarik Roberts - Georgia Stars - 2030
Long wing for his age. Does a good job getting to the rim and beating defenders off the dribble. Long arms that makes him a disruptor on defense and interior passing lanes.

Carmelo Williams - Georgia Canes OTR - 2027
as a JR. already looks like a kid who spends a lot of time in the weight room which allows his play to separate itself from the pact. Highly effective guard that can bulldoze his way to the rim and finish at a high clip. Active, athletic and took the initiative trying to help lead the offense for this group.

Anei Majock - World S.M.A.S.H OTR - 2027
Highly effective wing that fits defensively. Arguably in my opinion might have been the best defender overall on the weekend and with his length he can do it at a high clip. Provided timely buckets.

Abram Gaddis - Atlanta Timberwolves - 2027
Competed Hard in the matchup with Ga Stars and showed the ability to score on multiple levels. Moved well without the ball and wasn’t shy to attack the defense earning easy trips to the line.

Trey Sullivan - Georgia Stars - 2027
Knock down shooter that brings a dynamic energy to this group. Does well in catch and shoot settings and can create well off the dribble for himself and others.

Cadien Hudson - Georgia Stars - 2029
Love to see the results of his work and development as he continues to go through his high school career. He is looking more comfortable in his motions and showed the next level ability he has with his size that has the critics talking. He can not only play multiple positions (1-3) he can also guard them and takes pride on that side of the ball. He showed off good footwork in the paint and ability to create his own shot at a high rate. The potential with him is serious.

Kerrington Moore - Georgia Stars - 2028
Was pleased to see him running with this group as he is a gritty pass-first guard that can command his guys. He did a good job spreading the ball, making the right reads and setting his teammates up for easy buckets. You can see in his play he is constantly processing and looking to make the right play and at times that can make you second guess some easy plays, but as he continues to run with this group and build consistency on the szn, I’m sure more standout performances will come from it.

Elmond Johnson - Georgia Stars - 2030
The size that he possesses at his age alone will leave you intrigued. Solid rim runner with a soft touch around the rim resulting in multiple easy scores and creates an easy game if played through him. He showed the ability to put the ball on the floor, crafty in the post, and can stretch the floor. Still early in his youth hoops career, EJ might be on to circle down the line.
