The Atlanta Classic gathered some of Georgia’s very best prospects and programs in Gwinnett County for a packed weekend of hoops. Here’s who stood out:

PLAYERS FEATURED

Tremaine Seales - Thunder Select - 2027
Knockdown shooter who adds spacing. Effective in catch-and-shoot situations and capable of creating offense off the dribble for himself and teammates due to his size and physique. good frame early and it allowed him to get to the ft line with ease being able to bully his way downhill.

Khyri brown - Atlanta Standard - 2028
Athletic guard with upside. made his mark off the bench and brought a good change of pace to the group. made a lot of his plays on the defensive end and kept the offense alert at all time. quick first step as he showed the ability to attack and win off the dribble.

Michael Lynch - Atlanta Standard - 2028
Fundamentally sound player who understands spacing and team concepts. capitalized on multiple back screens and was constantly moving on the floor to find open scores. Read the game well and was pivotal to his teams late charge against the Unsigned GA Canes group.

AJ Williams - Georgia Canes - 2026
Versatile guard with solid physical tools. nice size at the guard spot that allowed him to score in multiple ways. Showed flashes of two-way ability and the confidence to contribute offensively when needed. He can blow by defenders or shoot over you and provide quality, efficient buckets. Helped lead his team to a 4-0 record this weekend and he should continue to raise eyebrows on the circuit this spring and summer.

Kaleb Johnson - Devin Butts Elite - 2027
The work is showing with Kaleb as he continues to make a standout list every time he steps foot on the circuit. Already standing at 6'8 he is known as one of the more feared rim protectors in the state and a stout defender in the post, but this weekend he showed off his shooting touch that extended to the 3 point line. It shows a guy that's constantly working on his game and expanding his tools. Between AAU and HS his coaches are constantly working with him and the work is paying off.

Kyree Taylor - EYA OTR - 2027
From all my match-ups watched between Friday and Saturday at SSA, KT was easily the MOP for me on the weekend behind his play. He is electric, can score at ease, gets his teammates involved and doesn’t waiver under pressure. I saw him help lead his team to a 50pt victory then turn around and lead all scorers including the game winning lay in a double OT win. He was the head of EYA that went 4-0 on the weekend and while still having another year to develop, KT continued to put the state on watch this weekend if you weren’t already hip.

Joseph Ogunyemi - Georgia Stars - 2029
As a member of one of the most talented teams in the entire circuit, JO left a good first impression. He was a big-time presence in the post and quality space eater that provided second chance buckets and a stern body to collect rebounds. Soft touch around the rim, nimble on his feet and he ran the floor well for his size.

Steffan Jacques - Team S.M.A.S.H OTR - 2028
lengthy wing that does a good job spacing the floor and capitalizing in the mid-range. Long arms helped him be a factor defensively, altering shots and he did a good job attacking the glass as the primary size option for World SMASH.

Junub Duor - Georgia Stars - 2029
JD was another piece on this deep GA Stars group that showed flashes throughout the contest due to his size and length. His strides are gazelle-like and when he commits to attacking the rim he finishes at a high rate. Anytime he attacks baseline he can create a watch-your head moment. Good feet, fundamentally sound, plays well off the dribble and is an effective wing piece that should see his stock rise quickly.
