The 2026 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) regional playoffs are officially underway as we look at some of the top performers from this weekend’s regional quarterfinals.

Ethan Diaz - Lake Howell - 2026

Diaz was sharp when it came to scoring in the interior as well as getting to the free-throw line on the offensive end. In a wire-to-wire win over Nease, Diaz finished with 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 from the charity stripe. He also added seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals in the win. His contagious effort and energy provided a huge spark to help send his team to the regional semifinals.

Christian Fuller - Victory Christian Academy - 2027

Fuller was impressive on both ends of the floor in a wire-to-wire win over Universal Academy. He finished with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He showed a strong presence when it came to his ability to knock down tough shots from the perimeter off the catch as well as the bounce. Defensively, Fuller was active and disruptive when it came to pressuring the passing lanes as well as switching onto bigger players, where he was unafraid when it came to altering shots at the rim. His all-around performance could help carry his team to a possible deep postseason run.

Nijaun Harris - St. Petersburg - 2028

Harris is a premier offensive weapon who can play inside as well as score from the mid-range. In the opening round win over Dunbar, Harris finished with just 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field; his efforts on the defensive end are what stood out. Harris was active in the passing lanes, where he finished with a team-high five steals in the win. His two-way playmaking skills could open some eyes as he is in for a big recruitment heading into the travel season.

Robert Oskarsson - Lake Highland Prep - 2026

The 6-foot-1 point guard put on a shooting clinic in their opening round win over Astronaut. Oskarsson finished with a near triple-double, recording 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Defensively, he did a great job of staying engaged throughout the game, utilizing his active hands and elite footwork around the perimeter. He was also efficient when it came to altering shots at the front of the rim, as he has been very productive this season on both ends of the floor.

Maddox Palmer - Ponte Vedra - 2026

The Jacksonville University signee was a scoring force in the win over Mosley, where he finished with a team-high 33 points on 13-of-21 shooting from the field and 4-of-10 from behind the three-point line. Palmer’s shooting stroke was sharp from the opening tip, as well as his ability to run the floor in transition. He was also active on the glass, where he didn’t allow an offensive rebound, finishing two rebounds shy of a double-double.

Jianny Reyes - Charlotte (Punta Gorda) - 2026

The 6-foot-3 combo guard played with relentless energy and a high motor in a rout win over Wiregrass Ranch. Reyes finished with a double-double (26 points and 13 rebounds) as his length and athleticism made havoc for the Bulls’ offense to get anything going. Reyes brought explosiveness off the bounce, as well as getting his teammates involved from the second-guard position. His combination skillset of three-level scoring on the offensive end and athleticism on the glass could carry a possible deep playoff run for the Tarpons this season.

Ethan Sabec - Calvary Christian (Clearwater) - 2026

The Princeton University signee turned in a well-rounded performance in the win over Tampa Catholic. The senior forward showcased his soft touch around the rim as well as the ability to extend his offensive game into the perimeter, where he finished with a team-high 23 points. His production and versatility on the defensive end led to transition scoring opportunities. His efforts to lead his team in scoring and rebounding this season could open the doors for Calvary Christian to make a deep postseason run.

Lillian Tchabo - Impact Christian Academy - 2027

Tchabo played bigger than his size indicated, where he used his strength  and frame to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He finished with a double-double (12 points and 11 rebounds) as his team cruised into the regional semifinals with a win over Meadowbrook Academy. His length was not just a factor in the paint, but he was very active in the passing lanes, where he forced the opposition into making tough entry passes. Tchabo could help make a ton of noise for his team as they are destined to make a deep postseason run, where they are among the favorites to return to the Final Four, which will be played in their home city of Jacksonville next month.
