The second half of the high school basketball season is in full swing across the Sunshine State, and a ton of prospects have yet to decide where they will be committing to play college basketball next season. We take a deep dive into who remains uncommitted as we get down the home stretch of the regular season across the Sunshine State.

Jayden Aristile - Seminole (Sanford) - 2026: The 6-foot-3 guard is smooth and efficient when it comes to attacking the basket as well as knocking down shots from behind the arc on the offensive end. His confidence has risen from last season to this season as he has taken over as the team’s lead guard. His defensive mechanics continue to improve, and he has grown into a leader on and off the floor.

Brandon Brazell - Martin County - 2026: The 6-foot-6 wing is long, athletic, and physical when it comes to his offensive game, where he can finish through traffic at the front of the rim as well as being effective off the catch at the perimeter. On the defensive end, he is versatile, where he can guard positions 1 through 4, and his length and athleticism could challenge the opposing guards to make tough reads. He is a smart defender, knowing when to utilize his physicality, and is a high-level rebounder for his size. He could have a strong second half of the season for the Tigers and could be a key factor in a possible deep playoff run.

Lucas Boyd - Windermere - 2026: The 6-foot-4 shooting guard does a great job when it comes to creating scoring chances for himself as well as his teammates on the offensive end. He has a high IQ that allows him to know when to change pace and direction when he has the basketball in his hands. Boyd has had a strong start to his senior season, where he is leading his team in points and assists per game. Boyd is also a high-level defender when it comes to guarding the ball, where his length and athleticism force the opposition into taking tough shots at the rim as well as from behind the three-point arc. Boyd could draw a ton of college interest as we approach the second half of the season, where he could play right away at the next level.

Jordan Bryant - East Lake - 2026: The 6-foot-7 small forward is long and athletic, allowing him to impact the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor. On offense, he plays with a ton of confidence when getting downhill and finishing above the rim, whether it’s as a lob threat or finishing dunks off the bounce. He can also make defenders pay with his ability to knock down shots from the mid-range and perimeter when given the right amount of space to shoot. On defense, he can guard positions 1 through 4 with his length and athleticism, allowing him to recover passing gaps, and he can be efficient when guarding at the rim. Bryant can make an immediate impact at the next level, whether it’s a high Division II or NAIA school.

Ethan Diaz - Lake Howell - 2026: Diaz is an elite ball-handler for his size and uses his frame to his advantage, whether it’s attacking downhill or stopping on a dime, being effective in the mid-range game. On defense, he can block shots, grab rebounds, or close out on perimeter shooters at a high level. The 6-foot-8 power forward would be a steal for any college coach to land him, as he brings versatility and a winning mindset every time he steps out onto the floor.

Tucker Fox - Victory Christian Academy - 2026: The 6-foot point guard can create scoring chances for himself as well as for his teammates, where he displays a smooth handle and moves exceptionally well in the half-court. He has a smooth release on his jump shot, where he can be effective in the mid-range as well as out on the perimeter at a high level. On defense, he is quick and scrappy when it comes to guarding on the ball as well as in the passing lanes, where he can get deflections and change momentum in a hurry. His two-way playmaking abilities should allow him to be a threat to several college coaches, as he can make an immediate impact. Look for Fox to have a huge second half of the season, where he helped lead Victory Christian Academy to a deep playoff run last season as a junior, sending the Storm to their first-ever State Championship game.

Sam Quebedeaux - Pensacola Catholic - 2026: The 6-foot-1 point guard is poised and plays with a high IQ on the offensive end, where he can beat defenders off the bounce, finishing at the rim as well as making them pay with his ability to shoot from behind the arc at a high level. His fearless confidence doesn’t rattle him when opponents blitz him, as his high-IQ allows him to make the strong reads to his teammates. On the defensive end, he rebounds well from the guard position and knows when to push tempo as well as when to slow the game down. His overall confidence in scoring on all three levels, defending, and rebounding should make an immediate impact at the next level. Look for Quebedeaux to have a strong second half of the season, where he could carry the Crusaders to a possible deep playoff run.
