Who Wants The Smoke was a high-level precursor to this weekend’s live period. The staple on the OTR calendar brings together elite talent from all over the region. Here’s who stood out:

Nasir Chamble - Club Orange - 2030
Nasir was a 8th grader playing up and holding his own. Usually, one of the top scorers for his team, he understands how to use his body and get to the rim for easy baskets. Has a confident game, uses his size to his advantage and is aggressive on the glass.

Thomas Glanton - Atlanta Panthers - 2026
Electric guard that continues to turn heads and make waves on the circuit. Quick first step can get to the rim with ease and does well playing through physicality with his size. Scored the game winning basket in a sudden death win with 20pts to show his competitiveness and will to want to take the big shots.

Cameron Niles - EYA - 2026
Niles caught eyes all weekend with his blend of size and skill. Well-rounded hooper with some sneaky athleticism who was also a pest on the defensive end. Good wingspan that helps him disrupt passing lanes and force turnovers in the press along with a thick frame that helps him get around defenders with ease.

Ben Elson - TWU - 2028
High iq player with some sneaky length to him that plays with good energy. You can see TWU has some good coaching with the intensity they play with and the attention to detail in their sets as BE was a prime example of the product. He is quick and sharp in his motion, moves well without the ball, threw down a eyebrow raising jam and stepped out to knock down a couple of 3 balls.

Oluremi Guerrero - Team Scoot - 2027
Aggressive, scrappy guard that possesses that Swiss army knife mentality. One of those players you want on your team but would hate to play against. He grinded out both games watched for both halves and helped make plays on both sides of the ball. Very active on the glass as a guard and did a good job finishing second chance points around the rim.

Monte Colvin - Devin Butts Elite - 2027
Smooth game that helped propel a double-digit comeback. Could get downhill with ease, trusted his teammates to make plays and still showed the scoring prowess to finish with 33pts. Definitely one to watch and monitor for the future.
