BRYAN, Texas – The Adidas 3SSB Circuit Session 1 took place at the Legends Center in the heart of Texas. This circuit focuses on quality teams, matchups, and individual players at every level. It features the top player in the nation, Kaleena Smith of Seven Days Basketball, while also showcasing several potential All-Americans among the younger ranks. In this edition, we look at a selection of prospects from the 16U division that began their story in a significant way.

Dilynn Johnson – Northwest Greyhounds – 2028

Johnson finished as the top scorer in the 16U division averaging more than 22 points per game. The 5-foot-7 guard is the lead guard for her team. She initiates the offense and is the tip of the spear as the primary creator. Her ability to dart through traffic and finish at the rim make her one of the best talents on the circuit. She also shot the 3-pointer well enough to keep the defense honest and not back away. She should enter this summer with interest from college coaches.

JoJo Martin – Hardwood Evolution – 2029

Martin was one of our favorite prospects coming out of this event because of her passing ability. It is rare to find good passers these days, but it is even rarer to find an elite passer with size. The 5-foot-11 prospect could be described as one of those modern positionless players. She often plays in the middle of the court for her team, receiving entry passes versus full court pressure while also using her size to defend frontline players. Her skill and versatility have piqued the interest of college coaches following this event. She reported offers from Colorado State, Oklahoma, and Utah this week.

Payton Dolliver – ETG Midwest – 2028

Dolliver was a welcome surprise in the 16U division. She is a blue-collar prospect who blends size and a motor that rarely stalls. Her 16.3 points per game on the weekend while shooting close to 50% from the field are solid. It is her rebounding numbers that should draw attention. She pulled in close to ten rebounds per game as primarily a wing or backcourt player. She is 5-foot-11 and presents a frame that is solid and strong. She is one of the strongest all-around prospects we evaluated. She can shoot, handle, rebound, defend and provide versatility across the stat sheet. Expect her name to be mentioned in recruiting conversations in the upcoming months.

Janay Carter – Lady Phenom – 2028

Carter drew our attention in her matchup versus the Southeast All-Stars in her final game of the weekend. She is a problem for opposing defenders to contain. "Her 5-foot-11 frame, matched with her strength and quickness on the perimeter, makes her hard to contain. She averaged 15 points per game on the weekend and showed a little range on her jumper. But she is a player who is going to use her size and strength to bully for buckets in the paint.
