Last weekend, the On the Radar Hoops Circuit hosted two strong events — Run for the Cup in Marietta, Georgia, and the Florida Invitational in Middleton, Florida. The OTR Circuit continues to serve as one of the premier spring platforms in grassroots basketball, pitting competitive club programs against quality opposition while delivering unmatched national exposure. These weekends allow teams to measure their progress, battle in meaningful games, and showcase both established standouts and up-and-coming prospects to evaluators, college coaches, and the wider basketball community.

Here is a recap of the top storylines from both events in the 16U and 15U divisions.

Run For the Cup

Warner Robins Allstars 16U finished 2-1. Kelvin Hill (2028, 6’0” SF) paced the team at 11 ppg and 6 rpg, with a high of 16 points while excelling in transition and on the offensive glass. Travis Hart (2029, 6’1” CG) showed growth playing up in class and delivered clutch plays, including a game-sealing three, steal, and assist.

Analysis:

OTR evaluator, Jenn Brazelton (@Proven_Prospect) featured Hill after the All-Stars’ win on Saturday morning. Here is what she had to write in the moment:

Hill does well finding holes and making quick baskets inside. Hill found several opportunities for putbacks and has a quick release inside of 5’ of the basket.

PNP 2029 (15U) went 4-1. Omari Alleyne (2030, 6’3” G) and Ashton Burt (2029, 6’3” G) continued to lead the program. Carson Frazier (2029 PG) and Tre Wilson (2029 Wing) are in the spotlight for their defensive impact and playmaking, respectively.

Analysis:

Alleyne is showing promise as a versatile do-it-all wing with size and agility. His touch and timing in traffic allow him to produce consistently. While Burt is another prospect with terrific size for his position. Matched with his skill and instinct, he instantly becomes a 2029 prospect to track within the state of Georgia.

HezzyFam 2029 OTR (15U) had a signature moment when Jayden Nelson hit a buzzer-beating bucket for a 57-56 win over MDA. Jor’Dyn Holsey (2029, 5’9”) led all scorers in a tough loss to Flo Elite with 11 points and 5 assists. Jermaine Whitehead (2029, 6’7”) is a player who needs more visibility.

Analysis:

Holsey has been earning consistent recognition on the circuit this year. He was noted at The Opening with a game where he connected on five 3-pointers, which shows the diversity of offensive skill he has.

Flo Elite OTR (15U) compiled a 5-1 weekend (season record now 18-3) and reached the championship game after playing four straight games on Sunday and overcoming a 14-point deficit. Jherel Gibson (2029, 6’3” G) averaged 14 ppg with a game-high 22. Micah Joyner (2029, 5’11” PG) recorded a double-double in the title game (10 points, 14 assists) and averaged 9.8 assists for the weekend. Robert Adams (2029, 6’4” PF) owned the paint at 8.8 ppg and 7 rpg. Ernest Townsell (2029, 6’6” C) delivered a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double in the championship while anchoring the defense.

Analysis:

Flo Elite solidified their reputation as the team to beat in the competitive OTR Circuit 15U division. What makes this team so difficult to play is their depth of roster. With every game it could be a different player stepping up as the lead player. Robert Adams earned MVP honors at the Heart of Georgia earlier this month. Gibson and Joyner have both been featured as talented bucket getters throughout the season. The combination of size, talent, and relentless effort makes Flo Elite the team to talk about at this moment.

Florida Invitational

Sunshine Elite 16U held Tre Mann NXT to 23 points in one contest. Ryan Harper (2028, 5’9” PG) posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 assists against Austin Rivers Elite. Sebastian Jean-Charles (2029, 5’11” PG/SG) is an under-the-radar prospect who should emerge this year.

Analysis:

Our staff identified Harper last summer as a prospect with promise. His progression continues this year with Sunshine Elite. This is what Josh Tec (@_JoshTec) had to write about Harper and his play at the OTR Final Run last July:

Watching Ryan Harper operate is a breath of fresh air. He’s polished. He plays like a veteran. Harper controls the game and plays at his own, deliberate pace. More often than not, he made the right read throughout the weekend. Harper valued possessions. He had little issue getting by his man one on one and into the paint or to the rim.

Future Stars 16U competed short-handed early in the weekend but still produced strong performances. Bivindy Jean (2028, 6’0” PG) exploded for 35 points (13-18 FG, 7-9 threes), 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in his debut against Sunshine Elite. Nicholas Lindsey (2029, 6’2” G) and Jermonie Burger (2028, 6’0” G) also contributed significantly.

Analysis:

Jean is certainly a headline name to emerge out of last weekend’s tournament. His shooting and scoring acumen demanded attention, but OTR evaluator Ross Van De Griek (@RossVDG14) noted him for his all-around game on Saturday.

Jean is an efficient scorer who can knock down timely shots on all three levels off the catch as well as the bounce. On defense, he was utilizing his athleticism around the rim as well as in the passing lanes. He is a stock riser to watch heading into his junior season.

Sunshine Elite 15U went 3-0, including a solid win over Blue Chips. Dylan Lemoine (6’6” F) had 14 points and 9 rebounds with strong defense. Kendrick Ferrufino (2029, 5’11” G) put up 12 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals while running point and playing tenacious defense.

Analysis:

Sunshine Elite looks to be the strongest team on the 15U Circuit in the state of Florida. They have secured a 9-0 record so far this year. Lemoine is emerging as a top prospect in the 15U division of the OTR Circuit. Here is what Ross Van De Griek (@RossVDG14) from last weekend’s event:

Lemoine is a big-bodied forward who is unafraid when it comes to stretching the floor on the offensive end as well as the ability to finish efficiently around the rim. His length and athleticism allow him to be efficient on the glass as well where he positioned himself for timely rebounds throughout the game. His overall game continues to trend in the right direction as he is climbing up the rankings in the freshman class.

G-Force Ryders 16U regrouped from a tough loss to secure a win on Sunday. Cannon Rohr was noted as the top performer from the weekend. Joseph Greene is a prospect who deserves more recognition.

Analysis:

The Ryders look to be battling to find their rhythm this season. With promising players such as Rohr and Greene, there is something to build around. Greene earned a mention with his play at the Florida Crown. Here is what Ross Van De Griek (@RossVDG14) had to write:

6’6 PF Joseph Greene (G-Force Ryders OTR) was a beast on the interior as well as around the rim where he finished in the paint and used his size and length effectively. On defense, he used his length when it came to altering shots around the rim as well.
