Faye Williams – Bartlett High School (TN) – 2026
Bartlett fell short in their bid against Montverde in Saturday’s final game. However, the highly touted Panthers have plenty of talent that will make them a favorite in class 4A in Tennessee. Williams, a 6-foot-2 forward, will continue to be a force for Wes Shappley down the stretch. The SEMO signee scored a team-high 14 points and showed defensive versatility as well. Her long arms and ability to impact the game in traffic will make her a valued asset at the collegiate level.
Amayah Garcia – Faith Family Academy – 2026
Faith Family Academy’s match-up versus Hoover was one of the better games of the day. In this game, Garcia once again showed that she possesses college-ready skills. We became aware of the University of Washington signee this summer while watching her with Southwest Select on the Adidas Circuit and noted her for shot making ability. In this setting, her ball handling and playmaking skills were highlighted. The 5-foot-11 guard is poised for good things in Seattle.
Andrea Guilford – New Manchester – 2026
Guilford may have the highest ceiling among the 2026 guards we evaluated on Saturday. She plays bigger than her listed size of 5-foot-7. She displayed back court versatility as a ball handler, defender, and shot maker. Her poise and athleticism are characteristics that will be valuable as the Jaguars prepare for a postseason push in the Class 5A postseason. Guilford is signed to play with Austin Peay this fall.
Leah Dewitt – Marietta – 2028
A list of the most consistent performers we have tracked this high school season would have to include Dewitt’s name. She led the Lady Blue Devils once again in scoring (22) in a win over South Dade High School (FL). The 5-foot-9 lead guard brings size, shot-making skills, and creative ball handling to the floor. Her trajectory projects her to be a top player, regardless of position, in her class nationally.
Geornae Davis – Bishop Ireton – 2029
Davis earned our attention with her shot making abilities in a win over Hamilton Heights (TN). The 6-foot wing brings a soft touch in the midrange while also having the footwork and size to maneuver in traffic in the lane. There is still plenty to her story left to be written, however she looks to be on a good start with her high school team.
Jayden McClain – Ryle High School – 2029
McClain is one of the most talked about players nationally in her class. Her ability to move and run the floor as a 6-foot-6 post gives college coaches a lot to be excited about. Her game is more than just about her size and athleticism, however. Her fundamentals facing the basket are advanced and brimming with even more potential. There is a sense that McClain is not even close to realizing her potential at this moment. That is true, but even with that potential to production ratio still weighed heavily towards the unrealized side, she still averages nearly a double-double (12.9 points, 9 rebounds) and blocks more than four shots per game. It may be too early to project just how good McClain could be, but the ceiling is currently not in sight.
