The 4 Tha Culture MLK Edition delivered another exciting showcase of elite high school girls basketball talent earlier this month, featuring standout performances, competitive matchups, and rising prospects from across the country. Held during the MLK holiday weekend, the event highlighted skilled guards, dominant all-around players, and intense battles between top programs. Here are some key notes from Day Two that caught our eye.

Stock Riser

Class of 2027 guard Brooke Busby of Cannon High School (NC) impressed in a game versus Bartlett HS (TN). She is a skilled 5-foot-10 point guard capable of both shot-making and play-making.

Stars Shine Bright

Montverde Academy's Jordan Speller led her team to a second victory over the weekend. This time, she delivered an all-around showcase of skills in a win over Hamilton Heights.

Marietta trailed heading into halftime against First Baptist, but Leah DeWitt’s 15 second-half points powered the Lady Blue Devils to a comeback victory.

Marquee Matchup

Two of the top teams in the state of Georgia squared off at the 4 Tha Culture event. The defending GHSA Class 6A state champions, Newton Lady Rams, defeated Sandy Creek High School. The game featured two of the premier point guards in the state: Class of 2027 point guard London Smith scored 18 points, while nationally ranked Class of 2028 point guard Morghan Reckley delivered an 18-point, all-around performance. Smith and the Lady Rams ultimately earned the victory.
