MORE FROM OTR
The spring events from the OTR Circuit have concluded, which gives our staff an opportunity to reflect upon the best we evaluated. Notes were taken, stories written, and now we compile the lists of those who made the biggest impact this spring. We asked OTR scouts as well as the coaches themselves their opinions. We will be rolling out our superlatives weekly over the course of the month of June for each of the three age groups on the OTR Circuit.
Our last installment looks at the best scorers from the 15U Circuit. There was not a shortage of names supplied. If we missed one, let us know. The story of the 2026 Circuit season has not concluded yet.

At the Top
KJ Reed is a budding star with the Georgia Stunners. He is a 6-foot-6 guard from Alexander High School who has thrived on the circuit this spring. @TriHoopsNet raved about him at the Carolina Memorial Day Classic last month. Here is what he wrote, “KJ Reed (GA Stunners) continues to show how versatile and effortless he is as a scorer. His touches-to-points ratio is extremely high, and he’s starting to flash more as a floor general, adding another layer to an already polished offensive game. Must-see TV.”

Sunshine Elite is at the top of the standings in every division. In the 15U division they rank with a 14-3 record in large part due to the play of Jeremiah Gordon. The 6-foot-6 wing is noted for his athleticism in the open court. He is a Florida player that we will be talking about for years to come.
Omari Alleyne is the youngest player on the list. Yet to enroll in high school, the 6-foot-3 guard is showing a wide breadth of talent. He is physically imposing with advanced finesse. The 2030 guard with PNP is projected as one of the top prospects on the Circuit, regardless of class.

Flo Elite has a whole roster full of productive prospects. It is hard to pick one player given their talent and upside. However, we will put Jherel Gibson in this conversation given his consistency at tournaments all spring. He brings a unique combination of size, strength, and touch from the floor. Here is what Hypesouth Media had to write about Gibson from the Heart of Georgia Classic this April, “Flo Elite OTR wing Jherel Gibson was a tough matchup on the perimeter and interior all day. He attacked hard in transition, finished well above the rim, & was a nightmare on the offensive glass. Good looking athlete.”
Emerging
The Rockdale Ryders leaned heavily upon 6-foot-2 guard Amir Ali this spring. He brought a nice combination of athleticism and shooting range. Ross Van De Griek took note at the Main Event and wrote this, “The 6-foot-1 small forward got off to a scorching start and never looked back, scoring the first seven points of the game for his side in a win over IDBA Select. Ali also showcased his length as well when it came to the defensive end, where he was altering shots at the rim as well as guarding the passing lanes. In the second half, Ali knocked down three 3-pointers to help his team preserve the win to kick off the day on Sunday.”

Deshawn Wilmington was one of the first prospects we featured this spring at The Opening. The point guard for Wood Elite has been a steady producer throughout the circuit season. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is poised for a breakout sophomore season.
Twelve Time shooting guard Owen Veihman has been counted on to lead the scoring charge for his squad. He earned recognition across several tournaments this season for his shooting ability and general court IQ. Here is what OTR scout Lonte Smith had to say, “Owen Veihman (Twelve Time Elite) moves extremely well without the ball to open up the offense. Utilizes screens to his advantage, which helped him get downhill to finish effectively. Missed some good open looks but didn’t let it deter his offensive confidence.”

PNP is blessed to have several players who can score buckets in a hurry. Class of 2029 guard Ashton Burt is a player that will be on everyone’s state rankings lists in upcoming years. He is a 6-foot-4 guard with inside-out scoring ability. @TriHoopsNet saw his talent in April. Here is what he said, “6’4 2029 Ashton Burt (Team PNP 2029) put together a strong scoring showing and made his presence felt throughout. Produced efficiently, knocked down multiple shots, and gave Team PNP 2029 a steady offensive lift with the way he converted opportunities.”
Atlanta Standard 15U has won 20 games on the Circuit so far. This puts them second in total victories, only behind Flo Elite. While the roster is packed with future college players, point guard Liam McTeer is the engine that makes this team go. Here is his evaluation from the Sweet Sixteen, “2029 G Liam McTeer showcased his ability to score in various ways by getting to the free throw line, making jumpers, and finishing off two feet. His passing ability kept the defense honest, as he was a threat to find teammates for easy buckets throughout the game.”

Kingston Allen and Everything Earned Elite got off to a hot start this season earning them a reputation as one of the top teams in the 15U division. He is a 6-foot-4 guard with a natural shooting stroke. Kyle Sandy documented his game at Summer Jam writing, “He drilled a pair of threes and had some slippery drives to the basket, finishing with scoop layups and step-through floaters. Allen loves to shoot on the perimeter, especially from the right wing. His natural scoring ability should lead to plenty of buckets at Northside.”
Flo Elite’s Micah Joyner is a terrific athlete. He is slick with the ball on the perimeter, but tough as nails in traffic. He can finish off the move with either hand. He has been a big part of his team’s success thus far.
Trending
Robert Adams was a player of the month nominee earlier this year. He was named MVP of the Heart of Georgia tournament in April. He has been reliable as an interior scorer with Flo Elite. His soft touch and good footwork make him a consistent threat to score.
Elite Playmakers’ Chris Barrios is a name to track in July and into the school season. He is a 5-foot-11 point guard who has led his team in scoring.

Justin Wallaston of the Gwinnett Eagles earned recognition for his unique athleticism and advanced skill set. Davis McCarn summarized his game perfectly in April, "Wallaston has had quite a day. He’s a super impressive athlete. Looks almost like a track star. Super skilled guard with a lightning-fast first step who consistently gets downhill and puts pressure on the defense. Finishes craftily around the rim with touch, body control, and a variety of moves in traffic."
DPC guard Gabe Winston makes the list after a strong showing at OTR events. Here is my evaluation from The Opening. “6-foot-1 who can initiate the offense as a point guard or score from the perimeter as a wing. Great footwork with the jab and attack. Solid size in the backcourt. Good defender who will score on the break.”
Nolan Bone has been the anchor for AEBL this year. At 12 points per game, he can produce at either guard position as either a primary handler or as a wing. His coach says, “he is that guy for our team where if things are getting shaky, I put the ball in his hands and trust he will make the right play to get us back on track.”

Team Person’s forward Devin Melton is gaining attention as one of the premier prospects on the circuit. The 6-foot-9 prospect is reliable at scoring on the interior by using touch, footwork, and delivering a powerful dunk when necessary.
Twelve Time point guard Chubb Skinner earned his way into our notebook at the Rocky Top Invitational in May. His instincts and quickness give him promise as one of the top playmakers that we have watched in this division.
