The spring events from the OTR Circuit have concluded, which gives our staff an opportunity to reflect upon the best we evaluated. Notes were taken, stories written, and now we compile the lists of those who made the biggest impact this spring. We asked OTR scouts as well as the coaches themselves their opinions. We will be rolling out our superlatives weekly over the course of the month of June for each of the three age groups on the OTR Circuit.

Our second installment looks at the best scorers from the 16U Circuit. There was not a shortage of names supplied. If we missed one, let us know. The story of the 2026 Circuit season has not concluded yet.

At the Top

Cameron Blackman has submitted his resume for the top player in the 16U division with some consistent play down the stretch with HWPO. OTR lead scout, Josh Tec, predicted this back in April at the Main Event. Here is what he wrote at the time, “When taking stock of the OTR season to this point, Blackman has got to be in the discussion among the most dynamic guards in the 16U division. He was able to get by his man with speed and a shifty game. He’s shown that at a steady rate during this early spring. Blackman is a reliable shooter as well. More or less, he’s one of the most potent point producers in the division.”

While many of the top scorers on the circuit are lead guards with superior ball skills, Lucas Fainter is one of the true all-around scorers on the circuit. He is a dependable scorer in traffic, in the paint and with his jump shot. The 6-foot-4 wing has earned recognition all spring with his production and will have Georgia Legacy ready to compete come July.

Paul Marte earns recognition each time he suits up with HoopGrind. He exploded for a 32-point outing at the Sweet Sixteen in May. There might be guards who are bigger, but few have the tools he has to score from all over the court.

Jaryn Williams looks to be one of the next stars to emerge from Grayson High School this winter. He is already a star with Team S.M.A.S.H. this spring. He has split time between the 17U and 16U divisions and has found success no matter which competition he is facing. The 6-foot-5 guard gave a reminder to everyone over the Memorial Day weekend that he will need to be dealt with for the foreseeable future. His 35-point game was the highlight of the Memorial Day Classic in Orlando (highlight below complements of @SHReport)

Proven

There is an argument to be made that Kamari Kilgore is the top emerging prospect across all three divisions. He came out blazing during the late March and early April events putting up solid numbers across several weekends. Cameron Ross took note of his play with Sewer South at Who Wants the Smoke? in May. Here is what he wrote, “Relentless lead guard. He always looks to score and makes winning plays. Kamari has an air-tight handle and a quick first step that kept him on the paint. He guards with purpose and uses his strength to disrupt the opposing offense. Played through the contact and finished well at the rim.”

Future Stars point guard Bivindy Jean has earned recognition for his efficiency and energy this spring. OTR scout Allen Pettigrew noted his shooting range and ball handling skills during a May event. He has earned his spot on this list.

Travell Blake Jr. leads a talented Georgia Stunners group that finished the spring on a high note. The point guard uses his ball handling and quickness to create opportunities for himself in the half court offense. His midrange game is as good as any we have seen this spring.

Sunshine Elite has one of the top teams in the 16U division. They are led by the duo of Leo Lowman Jr. and Eli Basil. Lowman uses his 6-foot-8 length and athleticism in the open floor to finish. Basil pushes the tempo as the lead guard to create scoring chances.

Another great duo on the 16U circuit is Team Gold Coast’s Jaris Anacreon and Karl Mullins. Anacreon is a lefty wing who finds points in a variety of ways including 3-pointers and finishes in traffic. Mullins should be mentioned amongst the best point guards in this division as well. He routinely puts up 20-point games at OTR events.

Cooper McElroy of the Tennessee Panthers burst on the scene this spring with a flurry of 20-point games and highlight finishes. The 6-foot-3 guard is a noted 3-point shooter, but he can also finish at the rim in transition with some of the best.

Warriors Life Elite 2028 have a stable full of guys ready to score. The OTR media staff has covered most of them this spring, but the name that seems to bubble to the top more often than not is point guard Jaleek Parson. He might be better known for his defensive intensity. However, when his team needs a bucket, he is there with a runner or a pull-up jumper in the clutch.

Do not Overlook

Christian Grant is an emerging star with the Warner Robin All-Stars. The 2028 guard brings a workmanlike attitude to the court, but he has skills that should not be ignored. Davis McCarn detailed Grant’s performances at the Sweet Sixteen. He mentioned Grant’s long range shooting ability and his determined effort to get to the rim with the dribble. Expect Grant to blossom this summer at the July events.

OBG wing/forward Yaddiel Sanchez is a do-it-all 6-foot-5 prospect. He is productive on the interior while also being able to stretch the floor with the jumper. He is gaining momentum in Florida.

Forward King Aleyto with the Florida All-Stars has bought into the team system with coach DeRita and his mindset is paying off. With a traditional hustle mentality, he has been rewarded with scoring and leadership opportunities. He had his breakout moment when he scored 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds at an OTR event in Wellington.

Shooting guard Donte Gibson earned a good reputation this spring with the G-Force Ryders. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard brings size and poise to his position.

Julian Montgomery broke out in terrific fashion at the Rocky Top Invitational last month. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard gave highlight reel finishes on the break and also proved himself a competent shooter from distance. Coach Julian Nyemeck is developing one of the best scorers on the NGU White squad.

Adrian Pozo with PSB Tampa (Robinson) came on strongly towards the end of May with a great showing at the Sweet Sixteen. He is a proven marksman from distance, but he is sneaky quick with the downhill drive to finish.
